Sweet Love

Getting back into the flow of writing , but the following is far from my best. Yet it is another writing which I am sharing. I use very briefly a character from Celtic folklore. To explain in brief. Oisin was the son of of Finn Mac Cumhaill and one of the brightest lights of the Fianna. He was a skilled warrior, but also a poet and bard, and it is said that he wrote down many of the deeds of the Fianna in the interests of historical record.

Where do you wander Sweet one
Does another carry your dreams?
Or has he spurned your love and gone
into another's arms all to redeem.

Come sweet one tell of love now spurned.
Tell has it died like the summers sun.
Or has your loves desire left you burned
Rejecting your loving arms for fun.

Has the winters snow covered the trail.
Of your tears that flow like storm filled rivers.
unlike Oisin whose hear was won without fail.
Has Love left you to mourn love and shiver.

Has winter enveloped your heart alone
Bleeding rivers of tears to flow.
