I am still on course to compose another poem or as some would consider a poetic attempt. Yet still it is a poem created 110% from an active and creative mindset. None of this is from experience but imagination itself.
This poem takes into account how one vision of beauty haunts the eyes of one who recalls that same sight. Some thoughts of who could dare love such a beauty with ease. Almost a wishfull thought on the mind of this person. But also knows that she will never be the answer to her desires etc.
Therefore this is where this poem takes flight as it were, a flight into fantasy and wishfull thinking and well meaning thoughts. It is a poem that does not intend to cause upset but explore imagination and fantasy into and through the realms of poetry.
Having said that, Please Enjoy this Poem:

Passing Vision A Vision that ne’er left my eyes my prize, No disguise stands or beats under these skies. Her eyes shine brighter than the brightest stars, Yet none could be seen in any night bars. Her skin warm and soft like smoothest of sands, In all the lands that one e’er seen or stands, None could match this vision of mine, such sight, That filled these eyes and still ne’er took to flight. Her smile like the warmth of a Summer sun, All the prizes that one have won, yet none, Could replace what vision possessed my sight, One I ne’er seen before or reached that height. No rains would bring a tear to her bright skies, Who dares to arise and her Loving eyes, Will baptise, yet declare to care and share, To become the answer to her prayer. Sitting here to share a vision, not my own, That haunts my eyes still feeling quiet wind blown. © Pat Fitzgerald 2023
