Loves Lonely Shadow

While on a quiet walk on a warm afternoon wih blue skies, The thought of creating a poem that was inspired by sights seen about me. Combined with a few threads from a creative mind and placing all together thus resulted in a poem with the Title you see here. “Loves Lonely Shadow“..

Imagine if you wish, one who walks alone through life, BUT Love once walked and lived within their midst. BUT lifes struggles resulted in that one now walking through life without his / her love.

This is where this poem springs to life, Where love once inspired a being, who now walks alone without that love to inspire or yet guide as it were.

This is the result of my rather over active creative mindset and thus this poem is the final solution of this venture into this little space of a creative mind.

Having said all of that, Please Enjoy This poem:

Loves Lonely Shadow

Under Sun drenched skies my eyes searched for you,
In the trees birds sang happily, who knew.
Missing from the day, clear, you were not here,
Who shed a tear without fear who could hear?

The river made it’s way to who knows where,
Much like it did not know or e’er could care.
But the rains who shed their share, much was lost,
The cost too much for any whose paths had crossed.

Beyond the limits of caring too much,
Past any ability to e’er dare touch.
But to yet live and walk this path of life,
Designed to live in love alone with strife.

Walk alone unnoticed without a care,
None could scare or e’er were aware yet fair.
That here loneliness was my chosen fare,
Between love and heartbreak one walks this stair.

Where does abide a love without his care?
One will swear he stays where no prayer share,
Any deed or tale shall tell beyond here,
Eternity a road to thread each year.
