Twisted Words

There are days when everyone has times when their heads / mind’s are a jumble as it were. Whether it be due to headache or anyo other issue. BUT today has seen one of those days for me, Thus when trying to compose a poem, I decided to pen a poem that has words either solo words or combined with others, ALL fused together to form a poem.

I believe that a poem can be formed / created out of virtually anything. Today is no exception to that and I hope todays poem will show that. I know there have been poems that I have been rather trilled and delighted at the finished work and then few have not seen that same joy as I have felt. They joy is often in what the reader finds speaking to them as it were.

I hope that todays poem is one such poemthat will see a few find some joy in reading. The flow of the poem is intended to be as it is, to show how ones head can often feel from within.

Twisted Words

Walk by the light of a new moon,
Hear the sounds of an unheard tune.
Take flight as the barn owl flies,
Who will listen to the words of the wise.

Follow the stream as it flows on by,
Try things and give up with a sigh.
The songs in my heart now stop,
Waiting to retry or quit or swap.

The indecisive mind controls by chance,
Walking zoned lost entwined in a trance.
Skip a beat to uplift the parody here,
Beyond the sanctuary where one sheds a tear.

Sail the oceans of the entangled mind,
When the lighthouse closed in kind.
Break the barrier that sails on through,
As a fresh coffee is about to brew.

Very little makes sense when twisted,
Tasks in mind are never listed.
Until relaxation reaches the given limit,
But the glass is empty with nothing in it.

    1. as an older generation I would say that creativity has been slowly killed off and culled by the modern mind andmethod of thinking PLUS the addition of modern Technology like The PC and PC Games which killed childhood games of old.. Which in turn killed the creative Play games of children.. which was the early foprms of creativity and the training of the creative mind… Just some thoughts of mine…

  3. I remember a passage is the bible. It shared that the Lord is the source of real peace, something we can’t explain. I gather, I don’t need to explain when peace arrives.
