Easter Dance

After a couple of days with many distractions that kept pulling me away from writing, I finally came to a point where I intended to finiah this ourse of writing for posting before this day was done. Now at 11:30 pm I sit here typing to publish this post, I can therefore claim that I have completed this before the day was done, Just about.

Todays poem centers around what people may call the easter story, or what I will call a story with a couple of lines that cross and may confuse which was which. In other words, The Death and resurrection of jesus of Nazereth (Jesus Christ) and another The White Rabbit (I have always hear of white, others hear of other colours).

This poem strives ot shake things up for folks to discuss for themselves which is the truth so to speak. Also where the Rabbit / Bunny and eggs come to play with the death and resurrection of Jesus ?

I realise this may be a topic many may skip past, either for belief in something else or no wish to believe. The poem seeks to have the reader to discuss for themselves which is truth as it were and can both marry without a divorce happening somewhere down the road.

Having said all of this please enjoy the poem.

Easter Dance


The dance of the sun ne’er shall happen here,
A veil covers all around every year.
Rain clouds gather at ease, no one will freeze,
Thus why take to your knees, can none say please!


See, yet no white rabbit to bring some eggs,
Still no one begs nor will e’er cross their legs.
 Easter set for you to call what one sees,
A Bunny thus white to carry your fees.


Or yet believe that One but gave His life?
Risen from death on day three? Is it strife?
To lay your card there and claim your belief.
Watered down to swallow like a lone thief.


Fables cheer a lonely heart every year,
Dilute at ease yet claim truth you adhere.
Lost in a world with misbelief about,
Clear the plate before it gets late no doubt.


Chocolate eggs or painted yours to call,
The White Rabbit ne’er stands with God at all.
Believe in what? A cry that will echo,
“Take one not all”, says He, “Ne’er takes ego”.
