Windblown

When out on my daily walk, I spent time pondering on a topic for a poem. But after much self deliberation and pondering, I came to a topic of a poem that centers around a Love that has died. At least for one it has died or has come to a point of seperation. Where one is left in dire need to have their love back, a feeling that has left them feeling lost.

This is where todays poem comes in, One calls out in a dire need to heal a shattered heart, a need to have their love back to help fulfill their lonely days. This is a poem that has come completely from imagination, therefore I hope it appears to fit as it should. It is the answer of a mind that wandered into creative ideas and resulted with this.

Sometime one may feel lost and isolated without their lover by their side. But the grief of being without their love has put out the fires of desire for life. Never realising that if such a love has died, something new may be close by.

Having said this Please enjoy this Poem.

Windblown



There are days that I walked the streets so cold,
Feeling sold to loneliness yet foretold.
Without you my heart lost life and desire,
Written in deepest parts and burns like fire.


This ship sails alone despondent, unknown,
Sailing this sea of life windblown nought shown.
A light that guides my heart forwards, my home,
Blessed am I with you here or ‘ere to roam. 


Shackled by your absence lost, heart broken,
Thieves along the way have me unspoken.
The gardens we tended now overgrown,
Come spy the pieces of my heart windblown.


Lonely the heart that has no love to hold,
But what of the one lost stories all told?
Fragments of a broken heart lays scattered,
Without love to bind one heart now shattered.


Return to this hopeless beast grant respite,
End the misery that now fills this site.
Beaten by desire lost without a fire,
My days I cede in your loving choir.
