Labyrinth of Presumption

Having a rare occasion to compose a little poetry with a quiet house, One thought comtrolled my thoughts and means for a topic to write on. This is a topic thyat I know will cause a little uneasiness amongst some. Having grown up in a time where Roman Catholism was the religion of the time and of the state. Thus I know that many with such religious back ground may not wish to give any light or publication to the topic. That being EVIL.

But rather than wander off on a detour, I am going to steer onto topic straight off. First off like much of what we see and experience is influenced by Hollywood, for example views of Irish are as drunks and fighters.. When fact is I do not drink alcohol and have not done so for many years now, also the only fighting I do is to have enough coffee in store for my in take of coffee and also maybe for a little dry time when walking rather than getting wet through when it rains.

Hollywood also has us irish talking in the most awfully strange accent, when we have such a wide range of accents that makes it quiet funny, (at least to me it is). Also the most publicised hollywood export is that of the little green men, Leprecauns, Sorry to burst your bubbles BUT I have never come upon any and the closest to a leprecaun is our current President who is a poet and sorry one I do not like very much.

Back to topic, also Hollywood has placed ideals of what evil may look like to be what may place easily with the Black and white TV days, When evil usually shows up as Dark, often ugly people and creatures dressed in black.

But My point is same as some Bible views may show Evil as… Evil may if EVIL shows as a person may appear as someone that may be the most beautiful , well dressed etc. Opposite to what we normally view Evil as. Thus this is what Todays poem takes on in a poem.

Having said that Please try enjoy this Poem:

Labyrinth of Presumption

The two faces of evil walks with you,
Who joined the queue when no one knew, it’s true!
Yet beyond the light of the midday sun,
All is said and done no one expects one.

More than tales that eyes can see not one knows,
The Highs and lows every one shows their pose.
 Guided by movies entertainment lights,
Reality rises and eyes is heights.

Common eye views without news dictate yours,
Evil dwells with accepted vision stores.
It walks amongst most, seated beside all,
One can walk or yet run some may still crawl.

Look beyond your vision not as you feel,
Peel back the covers checking all the reel.
Bloated by expectation we presume,
Beneath the doom and all found in a room.

Roll a dice or rock the boat beyond night,
Can evil be what one expects and write?
Sweep the system thus clear the clutter now,
What is seen may ne’er be expected chow.
