Author’s Note

I wrote this to honour those the world passes by, the ones whose stories fade beneath the hum of everyday life. Within these lines, I hope to give breath to their silence, and light to their unseen paths. I Pray that this poem remind us that to be unseen is never to be unloved, for remembrance itself is an act of love and the smallest touch of kindness is far more.

((This is the closest image that fits the image for I had for this Poem. All thanks go to AI and its attempt to provide the image I asked for. Thus credit goes there))

The Forgotten

No noise, nor noble, heartfelt deeds,
E’er stirred the stillness of his needs.
Thoughts tumbled, tangled, left to roam,
Where fields met stone, no hearth, no home.

Laughter drifted, soft and far away,
From children bright at dusk-lit play;
Their voices, fleeting notes that fall,
Through rain-washed air and city sprawl.

Around him, hedgerows hush the breeze,
And pines sigh low through dripping leaves.
Beyond, dim towers blink and gleam,
While he sits bound in thought’s slow dream.

He wonders if those hearts still care,
For souls once lost to thin, cold air;
If kindness calls through crowds that pass,
Or fades like dew from autumn grass.

A lost, lone soul, unheard, unseen,
Where rural roots and roads convene.
In this worn world, grown cold and small,
Love whispers faintly, “I recall.”

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
