A Song for the Heart that Bows

When one reads the title above, one would expect pretty much anything, But If one was to meld both the Divine and Love as One! Where would one stand when reading such a Title? Todays Poem is a Play on a thought to combine both a tought or mention of the Divine and the Tought and mention of Love (towards one whom you love) as One and same. The aim is to send the reader off after reading this poem with a question, was it Love for a Loved one or Love or Poem dedicated to the Divine?

My intention is not to cause a divine or insult, BUT to create a Poem that would work perfect with both, as a Poem to the divine or a Poem to your Love. Would it work? I believe it will and in fact I believe it does work great. When your Heart Bows with the Love you feel for your Love, Does it NOT bow the same for the divine?

If you disagree, Then accept this as merely a Poem of love and the remnants of words as mere filler words to sell the poem as worthy of reading.

About The Poem:

As in the most recent Poems, this poem is composed using Aa, Bb rhyming and Alliteration. This is a format that appears to work for me and I continue with this. Also working on making all of this more easily worked on by myself as I write and compose poetry.

To make a description short, I would say that This is a Poem of Love to One you love. OR If one speaks to the Divine or God Then this is a Poem of Love to them.

Or such is how this Poem was set up to be read, Depending on where tyhe reader comes at reading this Poem. If this works for you, I would be delighted to hear from you in comments and In fact if you believe that It fails, you are welcome to comment also.

A Song for the Heart that Bows



“Whether Beloved or Beyond, the heart, yet bows the same.”



Whispers of wonder weave through the trees,
Never compelled, yet content to please,
Where waters wander from gentle rains,
I sit in silence with Love who reigns.


You touch my spirit, you stir, inspire,
Your light uplifts me, your flame is fire,
Within my heart your warmth I love,
Like roses rising to realms above.


The tall trees tremble, they bow, they bend,
On golden hills where their branches send,
Leaves falling freely, they kiss your feet,
A rustling carpet, your crown complete.


O Love, long yearned for, steadfast, strong,
You guide as nature has done along,
Soft-sounding rivers still sing your name,
And banish burdens of doubt and shame.


Bright morning breaks with your breath of light,
Soft shadows scatter and flee the night,
Your radiance robes the meadow in gold,
A tale eternal, forever told.


Calm clouds draw closer to crown your skies,
Stars fade slowly like love in your eyes,
The heavens hush, in honor they stay,
And bless the beauty you bring each day.


Seasons still circle yet heed your call,
Winter or summer, you steady all,
Through storm or silence you still remain,
A constant comfort through joy and pain.


So let my song be both prayer and vow,
To Love eternal, I bow thee now,
Whether Lord or Love, the names entwine,
For in your presence, all life is thine.
