A Bloom That Never Fades

For todays post, I wanted to play about a little and compose a Poem in a slightly different format. Almost taking me away from my comfort zone and thus creating a Poem as simple as I could possibly create. Basically this Poem was created out of a little play about with words, style and format etc. Basically this is a play about with everything to find another style that may work on occasions.

This helped me when feeling a little under the weather mental Health wise and I think it may have helped a Little. Readers can let me know if they like this tsyle or prefer to step back to the much more edited and re-edited forms of previous Poems. This style and Poem took far less work and load than normal, and basically felt like a lazy way about creating a poem.

About The Poem:

I normally speak in a Hibernian English way of speaking along with slang that often only suits native speakers as it were. Thus in an effort to improve my writing style, I searched out ways to improve my writing and especially the use of some words and phrasing. This did improve my writing, Often to the effect of having far less likes on some poems. But In general it did improve and I am most happy with how things turned out.

My aim has always to improve my writing without fail and to reach a standard that I would be happiest with. and as poetry does not pay very well, I can afford to play about with how I write and compose. I am also of an age that I can play about with how and what I write without any loss.

Todays Poem is about a Flower that blooms and catches the eyes of a passer by without fail. For me that flower will always be a Rose, As I have a Love for Roses and love growing them. Thus in this Poem walking in or beside a garden with flowers in view, I am drawn to the rose that casts its scent about in the breeze.

Beside my speaking in Hibernian English I have become one focused on learning my own native Irish Language. BUT This is a language that I may never use in poetry, because it immediately lowers who reads the poem in question.

A Bloom That Never Fades
 



Of all the flowers, a joyful sight,
One captures me with all its might.
This radiant display outshines all,
A golden flame in summer’s hall.


Brighter than the morning sun,
Its golden gaze warms everyone.
A loyal dancer, bold and bright,
That follows fire from morn to night.


From a stem sturdy and true,
Supports the blooms in skies of blue.
No storm can shake its golden crown,
It lifts the weary spirit down.


It stands in a garden bright and wide,
A golden star none seeks to hide.
The bees encircle tenderly near,
Drawn to its glow, throughout the year.


Oh, Rose that’s pure, you lift my gaze,
With velvet petals set ablaze.
A gentle flame set soft and bright,
You bloom in love’s eternal light.


In whispered blooms where soft winds play,
Your scent drifts through the golden day.
A timeless song of love and grace,
The rose’s heart, a warm embrace.

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
