A Country Lane

In creating and working on this Poem for this post, I decided to make a little change in how I had been writing poetry over the past few months, all to test if a Poem would flow better when loaded with so much within it’s lines that such words that begin a verse Lie “Treasured Time or Softly sank” were removed from the scene as it were and we instead find a poem thatI believe actually works as well without using such words etc.

I have tested the ground and experimented with such Poetic techniques to improve my poetry and indeed as it works and makes much of the poetry better. I believe that is such as Todays Poem, It works much better without. Although lacking the actual terms of such techniques etc I have become familiar with them.

For today’s Poem is about A Country walk. Or a walk down a Country Laneway, where few had wandered for some time. To wander upon a treasure of an abandoned or apparently abandoned dwelling now over grown. This becomes a Poem in many states and a Poem that could take very many forms, one of which I brought to the foreground here.

About The Poem:

As stated above with a slight change to test the waters and find out if a oem flowed just as easy without. We thus discover a Poem that Brings a country lane to life and if one has a mind like mine where imagination takes us on a trek to parts unknown and find life that creeps from every place.

Such is the kind of Poem we have today. Today’s Poem is one that takes us on a walk down a country laneway, where few has walked on for a long time. There we find what I hope will be a Journey through imagination at work.

Can you as a reader walk with us through this lane way and the life that crawls and moves about. But how many were tempted to move that Bicycle a little or tend to it a little to try bring it to life again? Or how many were tempted to let nature have it’s reclaimed piece of Utopia.

Having said all of this: Please Enjoy This Poem:

Once more I stuck with AI to provide a suitable Image to go along with this Post. Therefore usual creadit etc for copyrite etc goes where it needs to be. I believe this best suits the Topic of the Poem.

A Country Lane

A country pathway, wild and free,
Where nature claims it’s victory,
As dust settles on the cracked roadside.
Swallowed by times relentless tide.

A garden sleeps, yet hidden deep,
Where natures breath whispers keep,
Through tangled clutch at the humid air,
Earthy smells rise, wild and everywhere.

Tangled vines creep a verdant mesh,
Where footpaths yield to Natures wish,
Butterflies dance, a haven bright,
With buzzing bugs and a ravens flight.

The Ivy a living stain, blend,
With ease, conqured the gable end,
Where it’s tendrils, reach the trees,
To claim the sky, it’s prize that sees.

The Blanket of ivy, thick and deep,
Swallowed A bicycle in it’s sleep,
Though rooted deep, it pulses with Life,
A Country lane sleeps, this silent knife.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always work to improve. A lot of work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until I am happy with the result. This is how I operate in creating posts to share here.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
