Wiltered Rose

When thinking about topics for today’s post, I considered many topics, but in the end settled on permitting imagination to be the guide and drive what came about as Todays Poem. In other words I wrote from an empty mind and permitted a creative mind and imagination to bring about the result.

Having a Post for today that again comes simply from imagination and yet it becomes something real. Whilst considering many topics I walked usual roads in solitude that helped me to clear a mind enough that aided me to create this poem.

Therefore this poem centers about Loneliness, issolation, Love and Happiness where one is best suited and happy to be at in life. One could compose a poem about one such topic like lonliness and result in one possible route of a Poem, yet a combination of such words that ring about a poem that causes a reader to ponder much along the roads of this poem.

However it is a Poem about Lonliness but depending how one reads it, this can result in a different view.

About The Poem:

Although this is a poem on loneliness and correctly it can be listed as such, It begun far different and was never intended to result in any negative light. But rather it was meant for a celeebration of how a Person who rathers to spend much of their time alone , can enjoy such time doing what they set about to do.

Yet correctly one can read this poem as one of Lonliness, But still one would miss out on far much more. Yet I invite what readers view on this poem. Is it one of Loneliness alone or is it of something much different.

This is what I enjoy doing! Writing and composing a Poem on topics that can bring about different view points for discussion. Therefore this is one such Poem and one I hope will bring about a discussion. There was no clear reason for my writing this, except that I love composing and writing Poetry and most especially I enjoy writing Poetry on topics that cause readers to Ponder things and question their own stance on that issue.

In effect this is one such Poem and how it is received will be told in time.

Wiltered Rose




Often overcast skies greet the day,
and some one wished would stay away,
When Lonely souls refuse to speak,
And company decline to seek.



This wilted wild rose cast aside,
An Obsolete pushed away guide,
Forgotten by worlds and logged with pride,
Thus no longing to run and hide.



Like Lonely souls who walk alone,
To avoid the talk is never known,
By man or beast set fit for feast,
Yet enjoy the wilds remote that ceased.



This Wilted withered Rose decayed,
Beyond sight sinking to what stayed,
Yet prayed unspoken words that play
In minds ne’er to decay today.



Walking this lonely road with swords,  
Emotions resembles old fjords,
For solitude a guide that calms,
Searching thoughts guiding with our palms.

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
