Love’s Lost Angel

Following recent poems and how they came into being, I decided to add a little challenge into Today’s Post. That was to compose a Poem of first Love while using the same methods etc as the previous poems. How this challenge worked or Completed this task, remains to be seen by readers. In other words It is up to readers to tell if this Challenge worked or if it fell flat.

This Poem has been fun creating and creating a poem around someone who at one point was a large part of a life and yet time itself saw both roads find seperate routes. It is hope and Love that is twinned as it were in this Poem. First Love also can set people free into a world that awaits them.

About The Poem:

Todays poem is centered around a First Love or First Love that dictates how a life runs or ends on a route one walks along. But with a big taste of creative imagination A Poem was discovered and set here for folks to read and maybe ponder upon.

In a busy world that flows by fast, we can wander by without looking at what occured or what took place. But in my behalf my Poets heart and over active imagination caught things in a way I hope has created a Poem that readers may enjoy.

Having said all of this; Please Enjoy This Poem:

Love’s Lost Angel

The troubled teens filled with innate fears,
Controlled and captured those years,
Until first love wandered beside,
With Nature a guide to us provide.

In the bright Spring sunshine she walks,
By with a smile and my heart stalks.
Like the sun that greets us today,
Had this heart pounding, thus at play.

This cooled Childish heart yearned for her
To smile yet more, when all is a blur.
Captured by her smile chained me there,
This teenage self, ne’er stood a prayer.

Ever gentle grace in eyes that shone,
Like stars in the moon light to own.
Broke chains rusted and set me free,
To Love life and live with dream’s debris.

Loves lost angel that came this way,
As Nature surveys that road’s display,
Yet brought my way an angel of Love,
Thus paved a road worn from above.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always work to improve. A lot of work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until I am happy with the result. This is how I operate in creating posts to share here.

      1. Yes, so true, but hopefully one comes to a point sooner rather than later that it isn’t working out and it would be best for both parties to let go and move on. Best not to stay if it is hurting your heart!!!
