Before The Spark

For Today’s Poem I wanted to focus on The topic of Love, not just Love, But a Love that Lasts years, decades or a Lifetime. At times such love can feel like such a love can last lifetimes. Something that seems to move through time and everything in between until it finds its soul mate. What I call it is simply; “True Love”. But here I focus on the Topic rather than a single person or People, this little emotion that shakes the foundations of lives throughout time.

About The Poem:

I wanted to compose a love Poem that does not bring focus on a person BUT to the Emotion that is LOVE. From young love’s first light to the Lonely Soul that wanders alone. OR A lonesome person sitting alone watching all pass by in the world, awaiting for Love to strike them. Where that emotion stikes and shakes one to their foundations and change their lives forever.

This is a poem that in a way is a Tribute to Love or as I see it That Love that spans time itself and for all time. For those who experienced this Love that carries them away, it is something they would never change nor have missed out on. A Love where it’s Fire has taken hold before the Spark, and one could never do without.

Even the wind sings its praise or whispers in the ears of those passing by that Loves Fire has taken hold. Even on hillsides Love calls out, where Pride and the Vessels of Broken pieces of Lost Love lay as True Loves Fire has taken hold. At least this is how I see it and have placed it here in Poetry form to last as my mark for this emotion.

If you have any remarks or comments to make on this Post I welcome reading all as usual.

Having said all of this; Please Enjoy This Poem:

Before The Spark

From a hidden cry - to loves first sigh,
Beyond the gate, whispers in the trees die,
Hearts together dancing on the hillside,
Where broken vessels, left there filled with Pride.

The wind whispers - secrets in his ear,
Of a love, bright, that's yet - to appear,
His silent cry and fates - longing wait ,
Captures me, as I wait, beyond the gate.

There trees rustle and leaves dance without play,
On the hillside, where love's first spark did lay.
Yet Ignites the flame, - that never fades,
In the hearts where love, lives on past the shades.

With pride, - he holds his broken pieces,
Love's desire, ne’er to cease yet increases.
Where Lovers dance on hills, and whisper low,
Of the flames that burn, - beyond the snow.

This Fire before the spark, a love so true,
That will walk o'er hills, - and never blue.
Leaving inside, - this love - e’er strong,
For eternity lasting, all lifelong.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
