Gardens Bright

Introduction:

Today’s poem continues on the recent trends of mine and also a love of mine, that of Roses and rose gardens. In other words, I composed a poem some weeks back that needed editing and a whole lot of work to be done to it.

Today’s poem is one that addresses the beauty of a colourful garden and that of a garden with a Rose or Roses in Bloom. There is nothing more speiial and inspiring to me than catching that first rose in bloom along with it’s scent that fills the air. Often carried in a breeze that scent can catch you, before you may even realise that rose is there.

Also it is important to me to keep any pieces of writings for future occasions and with some work they can reach a level that one would be happy to display it. Also it helps to at times keep stanzas or sections of stanzas that may fit perfectly ointo another poem at some point along the road.

About The Poem:

Basically speaking, todays poem does not spring from an all inspiring trip to a garden etc. BUT rather from a poem that remained unfinished for a number of weeks and fitted into another section for when I could edit and work on it. Therefore after a lot of work and editing the finished poem is on this post.

I believe that it has worked out pretty well and has ended up with a poem I am certain some may enjoy. Being a fan and a lover of roses and being one who likes to chill by tending a number of rose bushes, was inspiration enough to see this poem completed eventually.

I also believe that the symbolism of a Rose can be an inspiration that some may find encouraging. Also The completion of natures cycle as it were , when Bees and other little insects begin to carry their life around such beauty. Thus a perfect way to compose a poem that has such potential for creativity.

Therefore having said all of this. Please Enjoy this Poem:

Gardens Bright

In gardens fair and bright, where love resides,
A wondrous sight in bloom, that abides,
The first rose of spring, with petals so fine,
A delicate flower, with scent divine.

It’s beauty will entice, with colors so bold,
A sight to behold and treasure to hold,
The first bloom of roses, a symbol of love,
This fragrant bouquet, that’s sent from above.

With a perfumed scent, - that fills the air,
A sweet and subtle fragrance, beyond compare,
The first red rose, yet shall shine - so bright,
A beacon of hope, in the morning light.

These gardens full of life, where love shall grow,
The first bloom of roses, - steals the show,
This beautiful beginning, a lovely day,
Here a time for dreams, and a time to play.

When gardens stand bright - none shall despair,
Yet colours bright and scented with more to spare.
Blooms that sway there in - the mid-day sun,
Spreading love sent to one, ne’er be undone.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUt I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
