Introduction:
Is at here over the past couple of days with my mind fully focused on the weather that was at hand. Then my mind also focused on Natures way, and how ancient peoples were often in awe at such power. Keeping their beliefs aside I wanted to focus on this type of weather that was at hand. As many would call it “A thunder Storm”, But here is ireland we never get thunder storms to the severity that many would experience in larger countries.
But a Country that is an Island set in the North Atlantic Ocean and whose weather is often dictated by the Gulf Stream that passes by it’s west coast. Thus Thunder storms never reaches that severe point I have seen from elsewhere. But Still it shows of Natures Hand, The Power of Nature in one type of weather system.
For Photographers it becomes an excuse to set camera’s in a safe suitable location to capture such glory. For Poets, our minds may wander with images that inspire verses.
This is where todays Poem sets pace and place. To set a thunder storm on a poem is todays task.
About The Poem:
Todays poem is set to capture an image in words how it may appear to a poets pen. I tried best to capture it in a way that one should vision the night at hand. But This poem has gone through a couple of name changes and the present one was settled upon because the Title appears in the poem a couple of times. Thus a ready made title as it were.
In Ireland a Thunder storm is by far more mellow I believe than how it happens elsewhere. But how the nights skies react an light up to this storm is a poem in itself and a Painting to an artists eye. There is very little that will inspire than such a night. Thus in the morning after such a storm one must have respect and awe of Natures Might and power.
Having said all of this Please enjoy this Poem:

Nature’s Hand
In the skies above, - the thunder rolls,
A force that’s mighty, how it - controls,
Lightning flashes, with - a fiery glow,
It’s Nature's fury, for all to know.
With a crack and boom, the thunder speaks,
A language only, to hearts - that seeks.
When lightening strikes, - with a moment's pause,
A reminder, yet - how nature draws.
The skies are lit, with - a fiery hue,
A beauty to behold, for me and you.
The thunder's roar, an Orchestra so grand,
A celebration, - of nature's hand.
The lightening's flash, - a moment's gleam,
To remind of nature's power, a dream.
The thunder's rumble, - a bass so low,
A harmony, - only nature will know.
The storm subsides and thunder - it fades,
These skies now calm, with - gentle shades.
The lightening's gone, but its memory stays,
A reminder of nature's hand, and her ways.

ENDING THOUGHTS:
Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.
When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUt I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.
I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.
Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.
Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
