Smile Inspired

Introduction:

As in recent posts, I have been working on my poetry and how it looks, sounds and feels to me as writer. Thus as folks have seen in recent posts great moves was used for poetry that I posted here. Today I used same methods But may not have the same feel or flow.

But This poem has resulted in a lot of editing and re-editing that resulted in this finished product. But sometimes a poem results in a feel that differs from the hope one had when beginning on this journey a day or so ago.

I would be interested in folks opinion on this poem or the past few, all for my own reasoning etc..

About The Poem:

Todays poem has come from a simple thought. When on a walk in recent days I was lost in thought, gazing at wildlife nearby and the soft breeze blowing through the trees. I passed one whose smile Inspired and lifted my day from the silent gloom that may have shown on my appearance.

That is when a thought, if a smile inspired one, then would that smile inspire a poet such as I? Or would that smile inspire a musician Or anyone in such fields in life? Therefore would one such smile result in a good poem? Then having said that such a poem exists here. It is then up to you the reader to decide if it is indeed a good poem that is worthy of such a task?

No major task or exagerated words will fill a space to inspire reading such a poem OR will it? Then this shall only be known by you who reads. Comment and let me know.

Smile Inspired

When one walks by, your silent smile inspire,
Feeding poet's pen, flame within the mire.
The bard's words resound, painting your fame,
Aiming to reclaim your flame with the same.

One smile inspires maestro's songs of praise,
Echoing through time, recalling your past days.
Kindness displayed with a simple rose,
Unveiling the silence where love flows.

The ink from the quill flows with ease,
Banishing sadness that sails the seas.
As the preacher ended calls, on his knees fall,
Recalling moments, large and small shall recall.

A smile that burns for a stranger's eyes,
No disguise, no words from the wise arise.
Songs of warmth display friendly beams,
From ancient schemes to extreme dreams.

Let it be told to the world of a stranger's smile,
No grand style, just passing awhile.
From a smile springs streams of inspired happiness,
Making clear the sincerity of its costing less.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, This is my journey through composing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

In writing poetry some topics will either offend folks or a reader either may agree with a point or disagree with. I am Perfectly OK with how folks feel on some Poetry, even if they disagree with my views. But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I wish to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry for me is a constant learning curve that I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
