Sitting here this afternoon, I tried to work out how today’s poem should be placed together. Which is something I struggle with on occasions, But in the end I left the poem take it’s own road and discover what kind of poem I resulted with.
My first thought and indeed my first intention was to place todays poem with The Untitled series. But I felt that readers were a little weary of the Untitled Series. However my aim in placing the Untitled Series together was to show the world beyond the Title, which may or may not distract one from the poem itself.
Thus in this poem I have reverted to a Title to see how it is received, even if this is far from the better poems. But still I will say that This poem is simply about a Love that all but freezes Time itself. Where one finds that time is almost frozen by the love that they have spied.
Most will have known that love which cptures all of your being and all but reveals the inner most secrets that lay hidden. Here in this poem I have strived to capture this. I hope that this has worked for folks.
Having said all of this; Please enjoy this Poem:

Love’s Phantom
Time stood still in the presence of beauty,
Eyes become glued like it was their duty.
Desires to control, get lost like wild fire,
A spark in the wind, you take me higher.
You have burned through the fabric of my mind,
Here I find walking blind clearly defined.
Because you wander all of my lost heart,
See, your beauty chained me ne’er to depart.
Frozen in time I walk that narrow line,
Blinded by love’s hands, who can e’er decline.
The phantom that walks the lanes of my heart,
Defines a love I hold here from the start.
Forever she walks caverns of my being,
All that lay hidden until yet seeing.
Her phantom reveals what lay hidden here,
Finding cheer that she made all clear this year.
Oh Phantom that walks the halls of my life,
And thus froze time revealing all known strife.
Scattered shadows torn pieces of my heart,
Loneliness worlds away love did impart.
