Working With Words

As the title states, I am and have been playing with words and basically have been having a little fun with some words and other things. A big thank you to those of you who introduced me to this, BUT I needed some practise to get these things correct and placed as I would like and in a manner that people will actually enjoy.

This is a big step away from my usual poetic style and work, But it appears to have helped me in a couple of areas. I just need to find how people will take to these and also find out how I have done with these.

I know there are those of you who recognise these and will aid me in getting this correct , BUT all in all I am having fun with a few basic words and I hope that for a very first go at something like this, I may have done ok. So what say you?

All in all, this serves as an exercise and also gets me on the road to enjoying this little style etc. Please know that All little verses have been placed here with very little knowledge on this as of yet, I know so much on this BUT feel more needs working on. Maybe a little time in posting these.

But do take note that I have never done anything related to this style before and in fact I have never strayed from my poetic styles and form before, thus it is a lesson in public, because my preference was to keep on document and let it lay gathering dust where no eyes will ever see. Thus my other method was to place it here and post as a Blog post to find out how folks will relate to and comment on how I have done, either wrong , incorrect etc…

Having said all I could, please enjoy:

Thank you for joining in my exercise and my play about with words etc, trying something new can and is a little fun and let’s just say Lots of fun because many feelings come here that work along with a little perfectionist attitude. It is always good to try something new and for me something as basic as what appears above is new to me. You are welcome to comment on this post to either correct or whatever needs. Just be nice , I am fragile, (I joke on this)

Thank you for reading this far into my post, I am always thankfull for all who enjoy, read and comment on my poetry. Which for me is a journey that for the past few years have become one that I have enjoyed sharing with the world. Instead of what was always the case, of composing and hiding or deleting my work. Therefore thank you for joining me on this little journey.

MiSTAKES & TYPOS:

On occasions Mistakes and typos make their way onto the finished and published post. This has never been on purpose but at times they miss my eye when editing posts. BUT rest assured I correct and update the posts the moment I discover any such mistakes. Yet some do take a little longer than other because I have or may not find them. Thank you for understanding this.

PLEASE BE POLITE:

I welcome comments that folks decide to post. BUT I ask that ALL comments are in a Polite manner. However some comments that are not seen as polite WILL be removed, which sadly is occasionally the case. I believe that a comment made in a polite manner goes much further and has better effect than one made in less than Polite manner.

Often however I do misspell and will correct. IF YOU WISH TO POINT OUT MISTAKES, Please take into consideration that. Thank You for understanding any mistakes. I do not intend to cause any insult with what I type here, But wish to highlight a few details.

In finishing please stay safe and take care, also when possible show a little loving care to those about you in society who may be in need of such loving care. A little positive output in life is a great start for folks in a world hit with rushing about in their own world.

Until next time Sláinte (Cheers / good health)

  2. Beautiful word play poems. They remind me of Asian characters translated and computer bites for busy people. I was just remarking the other day how poets have been freed up from the need to rhyme and to use only ‘acceptable and recognized’ forms and rules of writing from times past. Even so, we are like the birds with varied repertoire yet our heart songs are recognizable. 🤗💕💐✨
