Following the last number of poems which were a part of a series of poetry that explored Celtic or Irish Folklore, it was time to switch things up and compopse a poem for folks. But this poem is a move back to the stricter format. But yet there is a difference. I have created this poem with key issues in mind. Which will either explain itself or I will a little later.
Authors Note:
This poem offers a series of reflections on human qualities such as compassion, humility, truth, forgiveness, and service. Each stanza stands as an individual portrayal, yet together they form a broader reflection on virtue as it appears in human action and experience rather than definition.
Basically a Poem that has stanzas that are each character traits as it were.
If This works, let me know in comments, else I hope it works either way. A whole lot of work has gone into this today in temperatures of in excess of 30 degrees Celcius and humidity of between 65 % – 70%. Which means for Ireland this is up there with the hottest.. Again I hope this works..

Embodiments of Virtues
Who showed compassion, all their days,
To rich and poor in equal ways.
Where hardship presses hard on lives,
Where hardship tests the human mind.
He stands with boldness, deep at heart,
Building his ark, without a chart.
While others judged as rains began,
And run hiding, without a plan.
She still forgives the wandering heart,
Though he tore faithful love apart.
He speaks of days he thought were free,
Still blind to all she chose to be.
Standing in truth against the crowd,
Innocent unbowed standing proud.
We will right the wrong, the price he paid,
No flowers laid where He was laid.
With smiles that warmed the coldest day,
She served and helped in every way.
Humbly she sits alone, each night,
Where quiet peace felt warm and right..
He walked his road, to speak the truth,
To the elder, child, and youth.
For many were were called, few would stay,
But one life stood to show the way.

From The Author:
Thank you for joining me on this journey of writing and discovery. Poetry, for me, is a continuous learning process. A way of finding my own voice and writing style and exploring the beauty of words.
I also write from the heart and never with the intention to cause offence. However, if anything I write ever causes discomfort, please know it is never my purpose. I am only human and occasionally typos or small errors may slip through; I do my best to correct them as soon as they are found.
