She Who Walks with Quiet Courage

For todays Poem, I Took on a Topic that I wanted to work at placing a more human element into, so that I could drive the issue home. Anxiety or any form of Anxiety disorder is something that is almost paralyzing and limits what a person can do normally and very many world wide live with any form of anxiety. When one does not have a Faith or God to fall back on it goes very deep.. This Poem is for those folks..

Preface

In every life there are burdens no passerby may see, shadows that settle softly on the soul, yet fail to still its quiet flame. This piece follows one such wanderer, a woman who walks beneath the weight of her unseen fears, and yet finds, within the hush of her own heart, a courage that grows brighter than any storm she steps through. For anyone who battles through such fears or anxieties, This is for you.

(This is not the best image for this Poem But it has to work for this one as the Poem is enough for this topic. . All thanks go to AI and its attempt to provide the image I asked for. Thus credit goes there))

She Who Walks with Quiet Courage

Oft’ she wandered, wondering who might care,
As rains rolled restless through her days laid bare.
Yet still she walked while whispering fears gave way,
For quiet courage kept her steps at bay.

Anxieties always angled toward dawn’s light,
And shadowed softly all the paths in sight.
A lone, long journey none but she had seen,
Yet strength still stirred within her, still and keen.

Still she strolled, steady souled, though none drew near,
As winds and weather weighed upon her fear.
But gentle grit grew gladly day by day,
And calm contentment came to crown her way.

For Love’s low lantern lifts the hidden call,
And guides her slowly when her footsteps fall.
She bears her burden bravely through the gray,
Though doubts may dart, they do not long hold sway.

And now she rises, renewed in brighter grace,
As dawning days draw courage to her face.
For deep within, a warming wonder grows,
A life alight with strength she newly knows.

  1. Bravo, Pat!!! Beautifully penned and a well deserving topic! I thought your AI portrait was great. The truth is one’s fear and anxiety doesn’t’ always show in one’s demeanor or physical appearance!!!

I will catch up with you soon. Things here are really crazy and chaotic and way stressful. Karen has one of her kids that is a bad spot that there is no information on. Catch you up later!

Hope things are well with you and yours, Pat!!

    Chuck :)
