Guided Through the Gale

To compose a poem for todays post, I went through many pages of wasted words that went no where as it seemed. Until I rested on a poem that was composed from a very real and personal area in my life, When things do not always appear as they seem, such a Poem disguised in verse as I have used Aliteration and Rhyme. The end result is painted words and phrases that coloured words enough to flow freely in verse.

Note:

To me “Guided Through the Gale” speaks to show, the steadfast strength of faith amidst the fierce and flowing forces of life. Drawing its imagery from the sea, storm, and soil, it charts a spiritual voyage from fear to trust, from isolation to grace. In the natural world’s rhythms of renewal, the poem seeks to find divine companionship, a quiet assurance that one never sails alone, even when the waters rise.

As a personal walk in Faith I find words like these placed such as it displays here, Is more than empty words of faith in a World that seeks to delete all notice of HE who created all. When Nature is spoke of in My poetry, it is easier for readers to associate the term Nature with something or some person as something they could relate with, Thus in my mind, I use Nature as a reference to My own Faith and my own personal walk with God.

Thus what people read in a poem is of their own thinking and opinions, therefore most who would rather not see God mentioned, does not see that, Even if that may well be what was in mind with the writer (Myself).

Preface:

“In the hush between thunder and tides, faith flickers steady as the lantern on a sailor’s deck, guiding hearts through the uncharted dark. Nature, in her tempests and tenderness, speaks of that same unseen strength: the still voice in the storm, the warmth in the wind, the calm beyond the current. This is the song of surrender and trust of being steered when sight is lost, and of finding peace not by the end of the storm, but within it.”

Guided Through the Gale

When sailing storm-stirred, storied seas of life,
Hope held my heart above the waves of strife.
From idle shores to distant zones winds blown,
Ne’er sailed I single, Your strength was my own.

You steered with grace, yet kept my gaze ahead,
“Oh Light of life”, by whom my soul is led.
From isolating isles where I had crossed,
You guided me to greener fields once lost.

When months of mourning mounted in the rain,
Your calm compassion eased my aching pain.
Soft solace spread where silent sorrows steal,
Your arms enclosed my heart, and taught it heal.

Through wild wilderness and wildfire’s fierce decree,
Nature’s nurturing hand still sheltered me.
Though rivers changed, their song remained the same,
As sands of time fell frozen in their frame.

The heart and heavens heard my humbled praise,
My shield and shelter through life’s shadowed days.
Though trials tore and tested all I knew,
Your tender truth transformed my heart anew.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
