There are times when I struggle to write in this space a few words that explain or build up an expectation that I hope would gain readers to the Poetry I work on. But also some Poetry, Like today’s, are composed from Imagination, from beginning to end complete imagination. Thus The focus of the Poem is on a woman Yet she does not exist, except on this Poem. Thus rather than explaining the poem, I decided a few weeks back to at times compose a form of Preface that should be enough to lead into this Poem. To begin an angel serene is a Title that I gave to A Love that is an Imagined Love.
Preface : A Vision of Love
When we move in thought and pure imagination we wander to avenues in our minds where creativity begins to mould something new and grand. Yet there are moments when the heart, though untouched by another, feels the gentle stir of something sacred, a whisper of warmth not bound to body or time. It is in this space, between longing and light, that Love first finds its form. Not as a name, nor a face, but as a presence felt and faithfully imagined almost as a reflection of Heaven’s care mirrored through mortal thought. So this poem is written, not to a person, but to Love itself, clothed in the image of an angel serene.

((This is the closest image that fits the image for I had for this Poem. All thanks go to AI and its attempt to provide the image I asked for. Thus credit goes there))
Angel Serene
With eyes that ever brighten, they bridge my heart anew,
Through scented scenes of softness, where Love’s sweet light breaks through.
Paralyzed, I stumble, yet freed by what I see,
A tongue still trembling, touched by her tender mystery.
This vision softly wanders where whispered waters gleam,
Her grace, a gleaming river that flows within my dream.
The birds of air all echo the hymn her heart imparts,
We live and love in harmony, the holiest of arts.
When sleeping, slow she breathes her calm through all I am,
This angel serene, both woman and lamb.
Our hearts entwine in silence, as Heaven leans near,
Eternity echoing softly, our souls sincere.
When sunlight spills upon us, she stays close by my side,
With glances glad she guides me through life’s unending tide.
Her laughter lights the lonesome, her gaze the lost redeem,
My angel serene, my solace, my dream.
For none may take or make her, she moves by grace alone,
Half Heaven’s gentle secret, half heart’s flesh and bone.
Here she stays in stillness, where faith and feeling play
My angel serene who fills my soul with day.

Note
“Angel Serene” is an ode to imagined love, a vision born not of possession, but of presence. Through imagination, It reflects the harmony between the earthly and the eternal, where affection ascends into reverence. Written in solitude, yet glowing with communion, it speaks of the love that lives first within the soul, the quiet kind that teaches us how to feel before we ever learn how to hold.
ENDING THOUGHTS:
Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.
When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

Wow Pat!!!! I really loved this poem and the journey you took us on!!!
Your poems have been so fun to read with the style you are using. I know this seems like a broken record but ever since you started using Alliteration it seems it is enjoyable on that count but that it has really help elevate your rhyme, rhythm and cadence – READABLITY AND FLOW!! Bravo, Pat Bravo!!!!

Chuck, This means a lot to read comments like this. I know we spoke in the past on the work that goes into a poem etc, But these da ys that load has increased , BUT I love every moment of it. If one could see the first draft now it is closer to a compoleted version from a ways back, I now think in alliteration when composing a poem, also I ask what words goes to say ” whatever one needs to say Like Serene” It gave me heads up for writing.. Thanks again Chuck.. Much appreciated.

Dear Pat,
Thank you.
I thought about writing you a letter for you to read much later,
but I started this day -after countless
cold nights maybe – yet from
Love and to – all they shall be,
and so today I write this to my Mother,
the one Love we all have – Brother,
I see you and I will be there,
yet I need to write, and write one letter
only to her,
Maybe one day,
Maybe on my last,
But as for her to know,
What only all winds can not carry-
A message of Glow.
For you-
Brother, I am already here,
Do not worry- your ways, I
Shall steer clear and be your
Shadow for your Seeds to fall shades
Wind for them to find
Bearing unspeakable for tears may
Soften rain for their to find
Breaking even into ashes
Soil so rich as our friendship shall
Forever grow on Earth beloved
Into Heaven
In Love
Your Friend
