For todays post, My idea was to Use a Door as an example and as a means of what people we let into our lives or how we welcome people or deal with them. For some may deal with folks in a hypocritical manner, while others are open and helpful.
This is a poem that looks to focus on how people act and deal with others and points out. If I was to place a term on this poem it would be a form of, “Social or Society Poetry”. A method of Poetry where, People are challenged by these poetry, to look at how they act or deal with issues in Public.
Also From this Post onwards I am Placing a BUY Me a Coffee back on the blog posts. This is after resolving a few issues, so everything should work this time.
About The Poem:
As in the more recent Poems, this one is composed using Aa, Bb rhyming and Alliteration. This is a format that appears to work for me and I continue with this. Also working on making all of this more easily worked on by myself as I write and compose poetry.
BUt I have discovered a Poem that was far more difficult to complete in the way that recent ones were finished. Thus this Poem may not appear as good as the last number of poems, But I would be more inclined to say that this one did not allow for that kind of poetry finish to carry out onto this one.
I felt driven to compose this kind of Poetry to push boundaries in a manner of speaking. The recent needless and horrible death of a Gentle man for voicing his opinion at the hands of a Gunman was behind this Poem in some ways. The hypocritical nature of some people can test folks to say the least, Thus this Poem may not be one you would like, unless you welcome it and welcome this form of Poetry that challenges one.
Yet There is not much I could say about this Poem, Except; Please Enjoy This Poem:

((I use AI to create Images to suit my poetry because it saves me much time from searching through very many photographs or images that could work for Poetry, BUT like it does at times AI presented a lot of choice, But this was one I ended up deciding on, But This should give a hint that This is about Love.. Credit etc and copyrite etc goes to AI or where it should go.))
The Old Oak Door
The old oak door, stately, strong, and still,
Has heard the hearts of wanderers at will.
Though some who scorn will secretly implore,
They mask their murmurs, yet they yearn once more.
The weathered wood has witnessed weary feet,
And felt the fervour when two strangers meet.
While prideful posts proclaim a guarded creed,
The humblest hands still harbour hope and need.
This silent sentinel of seasoned grain
Has kept the kindness, has known the pain.
It guards the gossip, yet it grants a gaze
To souls who seek a softer, wiser phase.
Some bar the beam of dawn’s forgiving light,
And bind their blessings in the folds of night.
Yet others open, offering what they learn,
And find the favor only hearts can earn.
For each who enters, every step we share
Will mirror moments we might one day bear.
So let the latch of listening lead us near,
Where welcome whispers melt away our fear.
Though deadbolts dust, still doubt is drowned by dawn,
For mercy moves when morning light is drawn.
Let learning live, where every life may stay,
And welcome wisdom—as we walk their way.
