The Silent Estate

Having spend a couple of days thinking about today’s Poem, I wanted to create something that reflects a Peaceful and serene Thought that I hope would flow from this Poem. Having being a resident in a land that Holds so much natural beauty within and Countless estates that have decayed into ruin, from a life where grandeur was rife.

Or Such is the thought that I have wanted to flow through and from this Poem. Whether one believes in Nature or a Greater Being i.e. God, Or One may believe in God & Nature being the same? My wish is to show respect for the land and natural beauty that shines through that which flows from what we see about us.

What Folks see as Nature Or Creation I see potential for Poetry and an art work yet to be created. In this instance, Todays Poem is Not very long BUT I hope it captures more than what I have stated here. A simple reverence and respect for Nature , Creation Or whatever you wish to view there.

I am Not Interested in Your religion Because that has been tainted by man’s hands to control as they wish. BUT I am interested in The beauty that is in the creation and Natute that we see about us.

About The Poem:

Todays Poem is short enough to be close to a form of sonnet But also I believe it captures all of what I wish to show here. Often amongst the handprint of Mankind in the wild landscape about us we can see the finger print of God standing clear to view where we can often not expect it to be.

Where the works of man kind fades to ruin, we can find wildlife take refuge and find home within our cast away ruins. IN poetry I have found a home that has settled into a method that both works and challenges myself as composer to tune and hone skills in ways I would never have expected.

In many areas we find tourist areas that often display ancient works of man to display a variety of areas where mankind has trandformed this great land in which we live in. In this area in which I live there is one such area in mind which once held base for Gun powder mill production. Now it stands in ruin and much of which reclaimed by Nature or what ever one wished to term such buildings.

This is where I expect many can find such places as one which is mentioned inToday’s Poem.

Having said all of this; Please Enjoy This Poem

We can find inspiration for Writing, Poetry or Art within every step we take on this earth and all it takes is Creativity and a mind that aims to use Creativity for This great art work.

Once more I have stuck with AI to provide a suitable Image to go along with this Post, especially after many rejected Pictures. So any usual credit etc for copyrite etc goes where it should go. Not the best picture for this Poem But I believe it works for the Topic of the Poem.

The Silent Estate

Once ancient lands held pious pride,
And secrets once suppressed now bide.
Where gardens drew the nobles’ gaze,
Now quiet feet in wonder graze.

The marble halls stand still and grand,
Their echoes stirred by twilight’s hand.
Now stands a wall that greets the sky,
Where wealth and whispers softly lie.

Behind the stone, so stern and high,
Once shut against the passerby,
A garden glows in Nature’s light—
A quiet guard, serene and right.

The fox and dove find refuge there,
Their homes untouched by worldly care.
The birds and bees in stillness stay,
Their Eden not so far away.
