For a little change I decided to create a Poem form nothing, or to be more exact, From a starting point of having no words or phrases. Therefore what resulted has been the work of a couple of days, writing, editing and reediting until we reached the completed Poem.

I have been caught in the mindset of Waves and crashing waves onto rocks, which for me became the starting point for this project. As many times before, Poems that I felt most excited and encouraged by the completed versions, Never honestly reach that point in the readers feedback.

This has been tone of the exciting parts of Poetry and placing them on a blog. Some poems that I liked or even was rather excited by, did not reach that level of expectation. Thus here on this one My expectation is not very high, BUT instead I have a hope that readers will like this completed poem.

About The Poem:

Todays Post is a poem of Love that has both parties in a coastal region, which coule be anywhere in this world, where Tides are subject to the often tempered moves of the weather. When as often is in some of my Poetry, one party leaves the relationship for unknown reasons, the other remains in an almost heartbroken frame of mind.

But as stated at the beginning above, This Poem was created from an empty and blank starting point. From this ideas eventually flowed and the finished poem is what resulted.

I know when reading and researching poetry from poets of the past. What comes into play usually are, Insfluence, Location and beliefs or other factors that may influence the poet comes into play. BUT on this Post, NONE OF That would take one anywhere closer to the goal. Unless one takes an over active imagination and a belief that one could create a complete series of poems from nothing using only imagination.

On this occasion this says a whole lot about myself. But nothing else to state Except, This Poem has been fun creating and the past couple of days took a whole lot of personal time.

Relentless



Once watching waves kiss the rocks was fun,
How Natures kiss can ne’er be undone,
But sands lost to time’s relentless sway,
Those tides, fate’s design yet did decay. 

 
Fate’s flame did part, where love took flight,
And kissed the rocks in fading light,
As it once sailed on high, cloud bound,
And sea’s kissed the sky, love was crowned.


Still sorrow consumed and filled this heart,
Your path, a design, did depart, 
There Waves roared, a relentless flow ,
Catching a lone spray, yet would grow.


Dreaded dreams filled this heart with you,
Inspired as the dying flame drew,
Closer to the rocks, where love crashed,
But rescued by, despairing heart, thrashed.


Rowdy rocks of destruction hissed,
At lovers hearts when first they kissed,
Yet in this lonely heart, hope beats,
That your shadow falls on these streets.

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
