Love’s Restart

Much like in the last post, I have spent a couple of days going through pieces of poetry that I left unused up to this point. Today I have combined a couple of stanzas that were unused until now and combines together to create one poem that speaks of Love, Love’s heart ache and all that comes in between.

About The Poem:

Todays Poem is the end result of piecing a couple of Poem, bits and pieces that was cast aside to a collection of Just in Case, pieces of poetry that laid unused. Both Today and the last post I spent time to find pieces of poetry to c reate a poem that would be worth displaying.

Therefore today I pieced two sections of unused poetry into one and then a lot of editing, resulted in today’s poem. I could ramble on and create a story to build up today’s poem. BUT nothing is better than using sections of unused poetry that I placed aside and created one poem , which folks can read here today.

Thus today there is no introduction worth writing on except for this here to explain, that todays poem is one of Love, But it takes love in a couple of directions that I hope folks will enjoy reading up on.

In fact I hope that readers like this poem, because it was not origionally one poem but parts of unused poetry that never made the grade. BUT still looked good enough to safe in a file I call “Just In Case”. I would however love to read up on what folks think of this Poem that has come from a couple of parts of unused poems.

Having said all of this: Please Enjoy Todays Poem.

Love’s Restart

Drifting through this world o’er water and earth,
The birth of desires that beckoned one forth.
But a soul now left behind, lost for all,
Abandoned by desires, lost and small.

Passing days beneath summer skies thus bright
And verdant fields - that stretch far yet light,
Where love would bloom, thus pure and fair with Grace,
Here in that space - a heart finds it’s place.

Their eyes, like stars shine so bright through the night,
For in each others gaze, to depths took flight,
In the silence, both did - whisper sweet,
And a touch, did two soul combine to meet.

As the wind doth howl, and trees - will creak,
Some soul’s yet wander lost, forlorn to seek.
For in mind’s dreams, yearn - for true love’s gaze,
That’s yet fair bright, and theirs to hold which stays.

The thorns of love’s heartache cuts deeper still,
Oh, bleeding love’s heartache, your cruelty spill,
To give or take, and sometimes then depart,
Leaving naught but memories love’s restart.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
