Introduction:
Sometimes we come upon a poem that for such a long period of time, fails to fit into the image that we have for it, until after much work and editing, it finds it’s own image. Today’s poem has been one such poem and following a number of days working on it, then editing it only to find that it still does not fit what I wanted, thus It was start again, until that same poem found it’s home in a place that it it’s own domain as it were.
Confused? In short, this poem has taken a number of days, working on the poem itself and striving to make it feel as I wanted it to do. In the end I am delighted that it fitted into a box that was set for it in the end. I have found that sometimes a Poem does that to me, it creates something within that almost drives us to strive to have it fit somewhere.
For this poem I have reverted back to a rhyming system that worked for me in the past. With the exception of a stanza where It fitted better where it was set at. I know that readers will realise when the read it and also notice how it fits just right.
About The Poem:
I am a country boy who lives on the outskirts of a city. Although this place was was once a village close to a city, expansion etc has taken over and this village now is part of a city that I do not care for very much. But for the benefit of this poem, I live on the western end of a city close to the south coast of Ireland. But as a country boy who grew up in the country side that was about an hours drive from this same city.
The difference bwteen life in a city and country life is a big one in my view. The love for the Rolling hills close to where I grew up and the distant mountains rising up to kiss the sky was always a thing of beauty for me.
This is where my inspiration for todays poem comes in, the appearance, the sights, smells and sounds of a country side that can be missed when living within a city life that almost runs away from such lifestyle.
Although being pretty much a couple of hours drive from any coast I had to combine both to fit a picture of perfection within my mind. because in many ways my mind’s eye as it were had that image for years. Where my heart is, my hometown, my home area and my favorite coastal location, both speak this kind of poem , until today when I complete it in a manner that fits an area of Ireland I love.
Thus in finishing, I encourage you to enjoy this visit to my home area, although rather biased. Please enjoy this Poem:

Spring’s Kaleidoscope
Past fields of green, where sunshine beams so bright,
The rolling hills, - a sight to delight.
Mountains tall, where beauty is their embrace,
As flowers bloom, - a colorful space.
Visions like paintings, a majestic bliss,
With peaks so high, - a challenge to might
Where flowers bloom, a kaleidoscope of light
In the sunshine, all is bright
When love is in the air, delight awaits,
Life here is fair, - where love still relates.
Living with such joy, a beautiful light,
The Springtime sun, here - all feels right.
Loving and living, - Life’s perfect blend,
Together creating a beautiful trend.
In the rolling hills, they do – intend,
To make the world, a place to live and mend.
The sunshine warms, - the flowers bloom,
A beautiful life, - one true perfume.
Up in the mountains, - love does reside,
There to live, -- where love shall abide.

ENDING THOUGHTS:
Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.
When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUt I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.
I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.
Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.
Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
