Introduction:
I will admit that as I set about to compose poetry, I browse through recent poetry I published here on blog and those that gained more success are where my thoughts will lean towards. In other words While setting about composing for todays post, I went over the past few posts here on blog, It is then that I noticed a trend, that poetry I had a fantastic enjoyable time throughout the whole process in placing it on the blog etc, Had in fact far less comments from readers.
It is not that I wanted comments, BUT I noticed that readers so often do not take to poetry as a poet I enjoyed and liked. BUT this is where I decided on a change in subject matter as it were and the subject itself is changed to That Old Theme of LOVE.
As before however, I wanted to hide and disguise as much as I could and thus use many other tools as it were to bring the poem alive. Or so is how I wanted it to result in for a reader. Therefore after two solid days writing, then rewriting, then rewriting again and soo that process went on throughout the day. Because I had a certain model as it were in mind and wanted a very basic work that I could then run with.
After many coffees and an equal amount of rewrites the product entered the second day for editing and more reworking. But to my surprise I actually loved the finished work on this second afternoon.
Now I place it here on blog and lay it at the mercy of the readers. I have to state that although I made mention to viewing previous posts to check on who liked what etc. It was not for a boost to ego, But rather to judge where I need to work for this next post. Because this is where readers preference often takes center stage. Unless I am burdened by a topic I feel a need to write on.
Frankly speaking I love the editing and rewriting work regarding composing a poem almost as much as composing the poetry itself. ALMOST! Poetry is enjoyable and playing about with words almost like playing Tetris with words for poetry at times.
About The Poem:
Todays poem has one very simple topic which is LOVE, That unbreakable bond that captures the hearts of the lovers and carries them away to places an over active imagination takes them on paper. At least this is how I place it for this here.
I have tried to use all of the elements as it were to try make this poem as enjoyable or memorable as possible. In striving to creating a piece that readers love and return to, I have often reused certain words in a number of poems. This is something many poets have done over time. Even in the song writing world it is someting I have discovered has been done with ease.
One such example is one of the Greats of Song writing Kris Kristofferson in mkany of his song writing during the 1970s and 1980s etc. Where he used certain keys as I call them along his songs, Like Freedom…
In this poem I have found the same with certain words or phrases, But shall let that for readers to find and figure out for themselves. Today’s poem “Her Loves Fire” in many ways tells of that unbreakable bond that lovers find. It is a bond that almost becomes a part of nature in itself.
I do hope that readers enjoy this one as much as it was fun to work on. Thus Having said all of this, Please Enjoy This Poem:

Her Loves Fire
Breaking ice once or twice can be quite nice,
Or sit tossing dice and paying the price,
Loneliness casts, on those hearts aching there,
Feeling square, or yet aware, Love is fair!
Those grey skies don’t match her eyes nor disguise,
The beauty she radiates, as hearts complies.
When dark rain clouds gather, they ne’er oppose,
For as the rose blooms who knows to suppose.
Her love so divine, she gives it to me,
Set sail on the sea, where love holds the key.
Forever warm, love to calm the storm’s might,
No more lonely waters, guiding lights sight.
Both bathing in the warm waters of Love,
Where no storm will breach your love from above.
With ease hearts combine and intertwine free,
Arms linked and hold tight finding loves decree.
When the clear warm skies return love remains,
From the mountains and the plains It contains.
Come, break the chains that restrains our desire,
Take it higher, than e’er before, loves fire.

A carefully crafted poem. Sometimes poetry is forged in fire and water and sometimes it just flows and cascades with or without rhymes. Wonderful fun! Thanks for sharing ! 🤗🕊️💕

Isn’t it interesting that the poems we think are our best don’t seem to get as much attention? I’ve noticed that with my own writing. The ones I think kinda suck get the most interaction and ones I’m extremely proud of aren’t as popular.

Exactly, I could not agree any more than I do, pretty much word for word. The poems we enjoy often goes wwithout much attention etc… and sometimes poems we do not like very much are best in other folks eyes… It shows to me that readers see beyond our own reasoning etc
