I had given my word to post a few more Elfchens ( or Elevenie) a number of weeks back, But time and an accident had almost stopped much of what I do. I am still pretty new to the world of Elfchen’s Or any other name that has been placed on this. But as in any learning stage one must move and learn from any mistakes they may make. Basically I expect a few mistakes and I know that folks will correct and teach me where I go wrong etc.
BUT there is nothing I could place as a Foreword on such poetry excpet that I placed words and left it flow from there. Pretty much what I know is what I post here from Wikipedia
An elevenie (German Elfchen – Elf “eleven” and -chen as diminutive suffix to indicate diminutive size and endearment) is a short poem with a given pattern. It contains eleven words which are arranged in a specified order over five rows. Each row has a requirement that can vary.
Now placed below are a few very simple shots at it.. I hope to work on some in future weeks and place more in time as I grow more confident on this. If folks have comments on these etc Please feel free to do so. I am a newbie to this world of Elfchens
