Untitled Series Part 1

As the title states, Todays poem and upcoming poems will carry the Untitled Series as a Title. Basically meaning I am composing a number of poems from todays one on without a Title in Mind. Titles for poems have often caused more work as it were while striving to find one suitable and often one that catching the readers eye. Thus what happens when the Title is removed and one only finds Untitled Series But the only difference will be a number that will show which one is reading.

During this series of poetry one may find poems of a variety of kinds, whether it is on Faith or on a social issue etc. But on Todays poem it has been composed from a Faith view point. NOT From a religious view BUT Faith alone.

Where would one stand IF Religious issues and religion was left aside for this topic. Where would Faith stand? Would one’s faith be in the beer that he or she holds? OR would one’s Faith be in the stuffed wallet of the rich? Would one’s Faith even be in God? My faith stands as it is declaring what I believe, Of which I let out of things here. Purely for sake of readers discovering where they are.

Having said this, Please enjoy this Poem:

Untitled Series Part 1

As roads through deserts are flooded tonight,
Sitting quietly I hide to sit and write.
Cowardly I avoid the fight inside,
No knight in armour shining takes to ride.

The curtains dividing now ripped in two,
Everyone and their crew now slip on through.
Columns fallen lay scattered now time lost,
Star crossed lovers stroll by counting the cost.

But few yet cared for truth no one played sleuth,
Now past the days of caring or in youth.
What we know chains cannot hold and foretold,
Everything yellow I’m told is not gold.

Standing in the gap more dangers than seen,
Be it king or queen nothing shall pass clean.
Rebel spirit and feeble mind in kind,
A cowardly heart still here walking blind.

Oh ships despair ne’er care who calls His Name,
Not for fame that the flame still burns the same.
In a world of hatred I call out Lord,
Truth now grows varied ways The sword still stored.
