Would You Believe

Over the past number of days I have been caught up with thoughts of altering my style a little. To be honest it is more than a little experiment. As I stated before I experiment quiet often and felt the need to place a couple of poems in another style.

There is a form that I have gone with here and I am hoping that folks will find and also like. Either way this is a learning curve for me and I enjoyed this piece of work. I wanted to try place a little bit of work in moving from My own self in one stanza to another in a different stanza. and back again..

Basically a switching fromone stanza to another altering between self and a thought or Question. Which is a question of Faith, nothing more and nothing less..

But I accept that at times poetry a writer places out there and likes, may never be one the readers like and visa versa. But It has been fun to work on.

Having said all of that I Hope that You Enjoy this Poem.

Would You

Would you remember me?
If my days on earth had done,
Would any e’er come and see,
How days have thus spun.

Would you believe this tale?
Of one who once walked free,
No wrong could pass His sail.
Yet see He died upon a Tree.

Sands of time flow fast,
As life forgets love and like,
Thus I lay, yet will ne’er last,
My tattered sails alike.

Would you believe one spoke?
Of loving neighbour as yourself,
He blew no smoke,
He was no elf on a shelf.

Would you believe I walk,
Where Roses grow and tend them,
They differ like cheese and chalk,
Even at the stem.

One shall ne’er compare there,
My sail has it’s battle scars,
A sinners life has been my fair,
Clear as the stars.
