Todays post I stray intentionally out of my lane as it were to create a poem that has become a form of devotional. It is without any apology, A christian based Poem and carries the Faith I hold.
Preface
This poem was written as a prayer shaped in verse, born from wandering through fear, doubt, and the quiet violence of a world felt foreign to faith. Within its lines, Fear, Hatred, the Blade, and Darkness are given voice not to glorify them, but to reveal their limits when met by the living Light of God.
It speaks for the soul that seeks the Father while still stumbling, for the believer who knows the promise yet feels far from the path. It is not a song of arrival, but of being found, of mercy spoken, of Christ’s light breaking gently into the longest night, and of hope rekindled step by step.
May this poem serve as a beacon to those who walk the lost lanes still, reminding them that no darkness is sovereign, no fear final, and no road beyond the reach of grace.

Beacon in the Lost Lanes
In lost lands and lanes alone I tread,
Where whispered evils softly spread.
Where Hatred weaves her cruel designs,
And Fear lifts Blade in darkened signs.
Here Darkness reigns where truth grows thin,
A godless night where doubts begin.
Once watchful towers guarded good,
Now stand in ash where hope once stood.
Yet still I walk, though weak, though worn,
A soul by grief and guilt out torn.
The wolves of ruin circle near,
My faltering prayers are steeped in fear.
O Father God, reveal the way,
The narrow road that leads to Day.
I seek Your face though far I roam,
A weary child who longs for home.
Then mercy spoke, not born of me,
But breathed by grace that set me free.
Your Living Word broke through my night,
A holy, healing, guiding Light.
The Light of Christ in love displayed
Stood unafraid where shadows stayed.
The Blade grew dull, the Fear grew small,
As Darkness fled at mercy’s call
.
Your promise burned, no fleeting flame,
But truth upheld in Jesus’ name.
When Hatred rose, Your love endured,
A steadfast hope by blood secured.
Though now the road is steep and long,
My steps are sure, my heart made strong.
For I was lost, yet now I roam,
By Faith’s bright path, led safely home.

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.
When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
