When setting to compose a Poem for todays post, I was taken up with the talk of weather folks, talking about a storm Or Hurricane that was hitting towards Ireland. In the end Pretty much nothing happened in this area or much of Ireland. Even the Hurricane was downgraded, yet the talk of a storm and the costal storm surge had my mind wandering and in the end, I created or composed a Poem with such a storm in thecenter of all, but all was imagination. I think on this side of things the imagined storm hit harder than the one that missed us.
Thus a created storm that hit at night. But thoughts nd memories of such a storm hitting at nighjt, and standing inside a bedroom windowwatching the storm and natures fury strike all around.
But this is what today’s Poem was composed for an imaginary Storm that hit… One could never make little of such storms, but when reactions are more lively than any such storm itself, I felt that A poem about a storm was well within the wheel house of one writing about the wonder of Nature and the force that Nature could strike.
About The Poem:
The Poem is composed with the same Rhyming structure and alliteration style as I normally write with these days.
Even storms that failed to show become an opening for any artistic work to take place.Such is an example of my belief that anything can become an inspiration for writing or any artistic piece of work.
There is not much else one could write that would further set the tone for a Poem about a night Time storm, But to state that This is a Poem that has a Stoem that takes place and the feelings one could have or would have if ones mind was a storm in itself.
I know some who read these posts may wonder why one would write such an introduction for one Poem post. BUT it helps when one has my mindset, that if one reads a poem, with as much knowledge in mind as they read the poem, It should help set the tone and maybe also set the enjoyment of such a poem that much better. If you disagree with my view that such an introduction helps to set the mood or enjoyment of a poem, Then I would be interested in reading your views also.
Having said all that I can on this; Please Enjoy This poem:

((I continue to use AI to create Images to suit my poetry because it saves me much time from searching through very many photographs or images that could work for Poetry,. I tried to find a photograph That would suit this Poem, But no luck in finding anything that would work, also The image used here was not what I imagined but It works, I opted for the best of the rest from AI. Credit etc and copyrite etc goes to AI or where it should go.))
Night Storm
In silent stillness the wild winds blew,
And sudden storms swept into view,
The window wavered with every gust,
I watched her wrestle, her fury thrust.
Tall trees twisted, trembling, torn,
Branches bowed, as the black night was worn,
Rain rattled, racing in restless streams,
Fury flared, fierce as fractured dreams.
Clouds crowded, cloaking the sky in shrouds,
Lightning leapt loud, splitting heaven’s crowds,
Thunder throbbed, thrashing through the air,
Shadows shifted, shuddering there.
Yet slowly her song grew soft, subdued,
Her fire faded, her force renewed,
And in her storm I saw my soul the same,
A restless river none could ever tame.
But peace prevailed where her power ceased,
And in that hush my spirit found release
