Todays Post has been long coming, This past week has been packed with distractions and sidlines that took me away in other directions. But in the end I managed time enough for a Poem. For todays Poem is about Love and Titled simply “You” . There is very little to write on Love so I thought! Yet still this topic brings even more gems to bring forward for folks to read.

I have worked on perfecting the flow and feel of a Poem as well as the sound of the poem as I read through it. The Poem takes on a journey in listing what Love was to what I call the “Poetic Voice” behind speaking or thinking these things.

I wanted to create poetry that best suits most when seeking words for a love of their lives. There have been a number of areas where I struggle in the world of poetry and as always I work on improving on them. One of these is Giving a Poem a Title that fits.. To Me this one works perfectly and works very well.

About The Poem:

In creating and composing this poem I wanted to begin a poem on one lane as it were But then switch to another lane to take readers in a different direction, thus resulting in a different finish that others would have expected. I will have to await to read comments to discover if this worked.

Yet this is a Love Poem that has one who compares his or her love to every thing to make a poent that They were their love.

I did disguise it as much as possible, thus reading comments will be more enjoyable for me to read. As there is not much else to write on this, nor is there anyting that would be added here to make it more appealing to read or even comment on.

YOU




Ever eager you guide my sails,
Through Oceans dark, Your Love prevails,
Or lead me on, to pastures new
Through paths and lands unseen by few. 



Though through shadowed valleys sunlit crest,
You bear the weight I find my rest,
To follow your lead, Our lovers seed,
The answer is here for every need. 



Yet you are rivers flowing here,
Where deserts stretched, this vibrant bloom clear,
And music vibrates in this heart,
It shaped events, here from the start.



Soft scented flowers that now bloom,
And fragrance from the heart of this gloom,
You are the sun’s first kiss on these wings,
As I drift to silvered heights of kings.



Faithfully forever Love you bloom,
Your love will always transform the gloom,
My sweet love a fragrant flower,
My Love, this forever is our tower.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feed back is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
