Some of todays poem was composed while I stayed over at my childhood home and as I pondered my childhood thoughts, dreams etc. Thus it speaks of shadows and what young minds like my own would have dreamed. Yet in an active imagination, such a poem would flow off in a little turn of it’s own.
I enjoyed looking over this little piece and reworking, also finishing off the poem to a completed poem. This started off woth a set topic in mind but as it often does, it took off on a road of its own..
Yet even I would spend a little time pondering on a question, If this does contain a topic in mind or just a flow of poetry that took a road of its own. You decide and can let us know in the coments below.
About The Poem:
As stated above, Todays Poem begun as one with a set topic in mind, Yet as it happens at times, any set topic goes out the window as creativity takes over and a poem goes on a road of its own. I look forward to hear from folks to hear and read if This Poem still had a set topic of is one with something that even I have yet to see. OR have I?
To be serious, The poem was set first day as if from the eyes and mind of a child, or to be more exact It was written as if from the eyes and mind of a child, but takes on a mind set frfom adult mind.. a confusing aspect but enjoyed working on this one. If this has the effect as I hope, I will look forward to reading in the coming days.
Yet as in such cases, There is not a whole lot more that I can write that would further explain of provide further information etc.
Therefore having said all that I can; Please Enjoy This Poem:

Shadows
Another day fades with the light
Shadows shake and dance to the night,
Eager eyes dart back and forth fast,
Waiting for active sounds to last.
Little minds wander far from here,
Sounds yet slowly picked up their cheer,
No songs then to ease tiny minds
Then stories watered on all kinds.
But paper walls and crowded halls
Carried sounds beyond that great falls
Active kinds followed with cheer
For sights that past the waiting ear.
Paper laces for fragile faces
Cast time in blank empty spaces
Where some survey the unsung deeds,
And shadows halted living weeds.
Defined by shadows creeping show
Little minds love the lasting glow.
For the dancing entertained few
Who dared to dream and yet renew.

ENDING THOUGHTS:
Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing or writing poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.
When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Poetry is a learning curve where I always work to improve. A lot of work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until I am happy with the result. This is how I operate in creating posts to share here.
