Winter’s Last Growl

After a time of lots to do but few results to view at the end, I also found myself discarding one poem for another a number of times. Before waking up this morning to what I called “Winter’s Last growl”. as another cold snap blew in from where ever to dump a cold wind through my bones.

In short, I experienced what could be and I hope will be winters last growl and my poor bones will feel the warmth again as I wake into another day. But such is my wish and hope, whilst yet I have another cold one blowing through. Not being one for the ice cold wind that winter blows, I long for a warmer time.

This is where todays Poem came to deliver this Poem and the Post for folks to read below.

About The Poem:

Today’s Poem, works to capture “Winter’s Last growl” for folks to read and experience for themselves. If readers are not one’s that feel the ice cold chill of a winter Wind, as it feels to cut through to your bones and almost through bone itself. I hope that you at least find a sense of what it may feel like.

It is a time where I feel my age a little more, when back injury pain’s a little more from this cold wind, and a more recent healed injury to a hand, I find that cold cutting through all that I had.

Thus this is how today’s poem come into being. A taste of what I will believe should (I hope) be the last real snap of winter before Spring comes through “Winters Gate”.. If readers wish for a taste of winters cold wind, I hope that they will find a little more than that wish here on this poem.

There has been a number of Poems and pieces of Verses for todays Poem. Which I will admit is not the best of works, BUT I love how it ended up. I pray that folks enjoy this Poem.

Having said all of that; Please Enjoy This Poem:

Winter’s Last Growl

With Winters last growl, on the prowl,
Across the land and with a scowl.
Days start colder as those before,
Cutting to the bone yet some more.

Old aching bones are feeling pain,
With Winters basket on the train,
And catching heat from coffee cups,
I pace the kitchen like lost pups.

Heat whispers to Winters Last Growl,
Soon this cold will turn ever foul.
Outside the gate of seasons change,
Is the time to yet rearrange.

Keeping the cold from all the heat,
This path today cannot repeat.
Extra layers should pay the way,
Survey to display what to play.

In winters last growl time confined,
When sitting blind, one’s left behind.
As the last growl of winters rage,
Leaves one off stage e’er this page.
