A Tapestry

For today’s Post, I wanted to create a Poem that works to draw the reader along a journey along this same poem, only to reveal at the end that all was a Tapestry or A dream as it were. I do hope that this project has worked in this design and that folks have found this same design.

Thus there is nothing real or striking in this Poem that spells it to be reality, yet a Picture painted as it were, that draws us in to carry us along on this journey to reveal it was this Tapestry.

About The Poem:

It is not a Project to provide some form of false narrative as it were, But it is completing a Project that I had set for my own self educational design. It is also another work on Providing a love Poem, that further improves my ability to write such work worthy of mention.

But a question I had coming into this Project was; “Could one compose a Poem that speaks the language necessary and shows all the details needed and yet draw readers in to follow along? Only to reveal in some form at the Poems end that it was this tapestry!

I believe it helps my writing ability to set such Projects before myself and complete the same and also letting a hope that this Poem has been good enough and worthy of a read whilst being one Poem that carries the reader along to discover the truth. Wheher this has all been a success or a failure will be completely up to those who read this Poem.

A Tapestry



Deep within my heart, this flame burns bright, 
With a love so pure that, lights my night. 
Her presence, a beacon that guides me home, 
A refuge where my soul can roam. 


Her smile, a sun that warms my days, 
Her laughter, a tune that lifts my gaze. 
With eyes, an endless depth of grace, 
Leaving me in a better place. 


Yet she, a picture painted, with care, 
Moments shared and memory to bear. 
For as one, we weathered the storm, 
Sailing seas of Love, forever warm. 


When we embrace, it’s solace and peace, 
Finding a home that will never cease. 
Her touch, it sets my heart aflame, 
This passion that burns with her name. 


Our love, a symphony that’s profound, 
Within, this never-ending sound. 
Through highs and lows, we stand as one, 
To weather storms, this love ne’er undone. 


For this Love, a hearts lost design,
A tapestry of dreams to define. 
In life’s storms sailing by, alone. 
With a wish, this day will find, or loan.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on my little journey, that is composing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on and my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.
