Today’s Poem, is one I have struggled with, because the deep rooted meaning behind this poem , was a Son that Passed. Although a couple of decades has passed since his passing, the anniversary of his death left a series of thoughts that was placed on a Poem. But I hope rooted deeply behind enough thoughts and words to I hope place a few more thouhts for a reader.
About The Poem:
The mere thought and realising that age caught up and advances Like a tide. But the anniversary of my son’s death, brought a lot of thoughts to the surface. yet Life’s Road is a Long one, But still remains to be short at times. The twists and turns that, caused me to re-evaluate my own life, and also in turn, how a childs life causes one to look back over their own life and in turn the short life that impacted a lot but remembered by few.
In a way my own low period in any year brings out a creative moment that has resulted in this Poem. I however hope that It brings some other thoughts etc and what they as readers find in this Poem. If the words in this Poem, means that some gems are found OR that they are mere words that remain unused but yet shuffled about from time to time.
If this makes sense to folks or Not so much, it has become a Release of thoughts that are hidden beneath words and Imagery.
But Having sa id all that I can on this; Please enjoy this Poem:

Life’s Road
Looking ahead to find the road,
That sometimes carried a heavy load.
Yet there for seasons lost in youth,
When seeking but, a little truth.
There lies scatter along the way,
That Leads us away, - to survey.
The fields of dreams, where love resides,
Yet rivers confused on all sides.
Left to wander, o’er hill and glen,
Lonely searching, to begin again.
By river's clear, we sit and ponder,
A Rose yet, why heart's thus squander?
Past crazy twists and turns of fate,
We then utter, at our soul's weight.
To mend our way and save our day,
For the misty hills, that start to sway.
Like a Lone Rose, you wander by,
With hearts aware you start to sigh.
For A beauty made to grow wild.
Crazy child, a Vision, that once smiled.

ENDING THOUGHTS:
Thank you for following me on this journey, that is composing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.
At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.
When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.
But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.
I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.
Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.
Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
