Seasons Change

I had great desire to coninue with Love Poetry for a little longer. But Todays Poem pretty much sprung to steal the day as it were. This is a Poem about that Season’s change from Summer to Autumn. Where little signs begin to show up about us that Change is on it’s way. I love this period where such change begin to show and the colours on the landscape are on display right up to the shorter days as darkness creeps in a little earlier.

About The Poem:

In Ireland This period of time between late Summer and Autumn, often finds it colder as a swift wind change indicates that Summer has “Left the Building” as it were. But this year and on occasions through the years “Summer goes out Screaming that It aint done yet”, as we get an extra time of warmth.

Yet the signs of Autumn are seen around us to show this seasons change has arrived. With the Rains staying away for an extra while we enjoy this period as if in Summer, But gentle reminders that Seasons change is here. Todays Poem is an attempt to show this time during such times, the warmpt of the Sun combined with the arrival of Autumn brings a magical display.

This is a wonderful time in which to walk in nature and the wilds outside of the concrete jungle that are Cities. I hope it inspires folks to go out to such areas away from such distractions in city living.

Having said all of this Please Enjoy This Poem:

       Seasons Change

This early Autumn sun shines bright,
With leaves changing colours a sight,
To behold in a timeless sky,
Changes in the air without reply.

The early autumn's display on show,
Yet this sun still warms enough to know.
That Summer’s last screams echo through,
Like heat in a timeless night view.

This symphony of colours waves,
As the landscape around saves.
A sight in a cloudless, pale blue sky,
For here nothing else need apply.

A breeze whispers secrets, long past,
As leaves crunch underfoot seems to last.
This melancholy sight express,
The autumn wind to great success.

This harvest time wind like a caress,
Of a gentle lover to press.
A reminder of love's tender kiss,
As this season’s change always bliss.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is composing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
