This Love

For todays post, My desire was to compose a Love poem, without any suggestion of whoor what was This Love. Whether it is Male or Female, that is left to the readers alone to decide which it was. Basically I decided to compose a poem where the reader can see or place themselves within this poem.

About The Poem:

As already stated I wanted to create a Love poem that left it open as to what gender etc the persons in the poem are seen as. My hope is that folks understand what I intend for this Poem and of course it is keeping with how the poem is read.

But also it is another shot as it were at creating a Love Poem and thus creating a Love Poem that most may see themselves within, “IF They Wish that to Be.”

As in any Love Poem, it carries what the label states it to be A LOVE POEM.

But my desire to perfect this art is one I wish to have made attempt.

Therefore there is little else left to be said on this . If you have anything to be added to this please feel free to let me know..

This Love



From Snow capped mountains in Winter,
Where thoughts may come to Splinter.
To the Sea’s that call out to me,
About a Love that I would agree.


From flowing meadows harvest ripe,
Where lifestyle sent some of a type.
Labouring treasures saved for time,
Yet a Love stands tall e’er sublime.


These Sparkling streams in Summer light,
Glistening at noon brought delight.
To Poets and writers that call,
To a Love I shall always Crawl.


With Eyes that sparkle like jewels,
In the stillness of the night Fuels.
And yet completes this soul that dreams,
This Love is real beyond extremes.   


From Mountains reaching to the sky,
This Love sings where all dreamers Cry.
For this Love completes forever,
One heart beats and says, “now never!”

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is composing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
