Hearts Voyage

Over the past couple of days, I had been empty of issues etc to write on, therefore I started to Write poetry simply for the desire to write poetry. With no real issue or thread in which to chew over, but thoughts that spread to lines then to stanzas, resulting in todays Poem.

About The Poem:

As I wrote a bove, Todays poem does not have any bright or dark back story in which I could lay out for folks before they read the poem. But it is simply a Poem composed for the sake of composing a poem for itself. But with no issue or thread to lay within the stanzas of the poem. There is little else that I can place here to fill in blanks for readers setting the space for the poem, But nothing else But a Poem that was written letting words flow and waiting for the end result.

One simple rule I laid out was to begin with a word or words in mind and follow ehere those takes me. Thus the result is below. In my view it may not be up to my best standard (and I use that judgment a lot) but it has resulted in a poem that I have placed below for folks to pass on their thoughts and opinions in comments etc.

Having said all of this; Please Enjoy this Poem:

Hearts Voyage

Unbound by her sweet scent on lifes own street,
Where the cobble stone roads, wind thus to meet.
Caught in the breeze, Roses sweet scent float past,
Feeling the first that ended last surpassed.

Roses still bloom - - that line the roads,
Thorns like heartaches - all around unloads.
Stone walls stand as boundaries decorate,
The scent of roses seems to celebrate.

Wild in thoughts almost dreamt up to survive,
To deprive the heart, yet to feel alive.
Thus with a sea of heart aches, - Now spill,
The thrill to fulfill fallen, - the skill.

E’er a love boat, stood so bright, cast adrift,
This voyage of life, - where heart aches lift.
Down in heart and wander alone, but still,
One smile, that spreads -- to soothe the kill.

Hearts in pieces broken in pain regain,
Desires for love, a fire that burns remain.
and sail seas of love cautious hearts desire,
Reaching higher still, love inspires a choir.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
