Lost Prayer from Somewhere

Shuffling through files of poetry, stanzas and pieces of poetry that lay unused for such a long time. I found some stanzas that loked like they could fit into a post. Therefore we are at that point, a poem that has been made up of lines and stanzas from elsewhere unused.

Introduction:

Todays poem is one that speaks of my Faith, A poem that takes on and sets Where stands my Faith. I know and realise that there are many who do not wish to read of anyting on Faith and especially the Christian Faith. But I have come to realise that IF I were not to speak of this Faith in which I believe, that will then become as easy as hiding a lamp under a bed. I cannot deny my Faith Nor can I state that I am perfect without fault.

All have a fault and hold a failing somewhere in their lives. Because “All have sinned and fall short of Gods Glory”, But at points I have to and will speak and write poetry on my Faith.

About The Poem:

Todays poem speaks of God, plain and simple This is a poem of Faith and is a Poem based on Faith. Rather than the usual number of Stanzas, I have a lesser number of stanzas, but I believe that it fits this poem.

There is not much else one could speak of in regards to this poem that would promote or encourage folks to read this poem, except that It is a poem about my faith and Faith in general.

Following the feedback from my last post and poem, I felt encouraged to post this poem that speaks on my faith moe than I have in the past. On occasions I have spoken on Faith but stopped short on speaking too deeply.

having said as much as I could on this, Please Enjoy this Poem:

Lost Prayer from Somewhere

In the depths of my heart, burns a desire,
To know the Maker and take me higher.
Somewhere beyond the heavens and the earth,
This wayward soul seeks - his hearts rebirth.

To walk with my Saviour – e’er my Guide,
And lead me on paths, by my side abide.
Or wander Paths where few walk and ne’er flee,
For haunted roads foresee the plight on me.

Grace I can accept, this treasure so rare,
In a World, thus ravaged where hate declare,
Believe in His word, Ne’er accept nor true,
Stumble in Faith and walk this battered view.

There stands on by chained with disbelief near,
Yet a tragedy slated to appear.
But the Lord of Hearts, - never stumbles
Thus Walk with him cannot but - humbles.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUT I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

I would like to Pass on my thanks to you for joining me on this journey.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.

Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
