Celestial Love

Introduction:

One of my desires is to create Poetry of Love that takes the reader into a world , that feels like it was painted for that purpose. To compose love poetry that feels more like a painting on display. Because poetry in many ways is a poets Painting in words. Thus to marry both as it were would be a thing to cherish for me as a poet.

Therefore todays poem is one such attempt at creating one such poem, but the question of “Did I succeed?” or Not, is still to be seen. On occasions in the Poem you will see ” – ” appear between words or during a sentance, this is to create a moments break in reading ( a single syllable break as it were) This is because in my mind I see the poem read in such a manner. But does it work? I hope I shall discover this answer from those who enjoy reading my poetry.

About The Poem:

Striving to creating a poem that in itself creates a painting that displays the Love as in this topic. Or on other occasions a Painting that creates an image of the poems topic. This is what folks should find today, and if I succeed then folks will enjoy it even more. But should I fail in this, then I know folks will let me know. This is how we learn and develop and as one who likes to learn and continue to grow as a poet, I enjoy this aspect.

I also wanted to created a Love Poem that does not have OR should have as little as my own voice within the lines of the poem as possible. Therefore folks should not find much of my own likes or dislikes within the poem BUT rather a third party type view on the poem. Again folks will let me know if this works or if other suggestions etc would work.

Other than all of this I doubt that there would be much that I can place here that would further aid a readers knowledge or their enjoyment of the poem. This is truly a journey that I am taking with folks in a way and I hope this works as I like it to work.

Celestial Love



In the velvet sky, stars appear to burn,
Their light, a beacon, yearning - to turn.
A celestial show, a dance - divine,
The cosmos, a canvas, this work a sign.


The fire of love, - a flame - that’s bright,
Illuminating all, with gentle light.
The landscape, enveloping – my heart,
Designed by nature, - left to impart.


The stars, thus painted, through - Natures eye,
Sparkling in harmony, to light the sky.
This melody, now a language of love,
A song of passion, sent - from above.


The burning desire, - of Loves own fire, 
A flame that flickers, and never shall tire.
This love so strong, - that never fades,
A beauty this grand, One - never trades.


The stars, Nights reflection - of love's light,
This dance, a celestial and wondrous sight.
The landscape, becomes a canvas of love,
A masterpiece, created from above.

ENDING THOUGHTS:

Thank you for following me on this journey, that is incomposing and creating poetry. If Life is a journey which we all walk on, then my journey in creating Poetry is a journey of it’s own. Which I still learn much on as I write.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.

When I write poetry, some readers may be offended with something within the poetry. I do not write to offend, But such are written for reasons I outline in the posts. Often I miss typos and mistakes when publishing each poem. BUt I correct the moment I discover such mistakes.

But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

Poetry is a learning curve where I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.
