Introduction:
Following my last post a number of days ago, I sat back as it were, feeling very proud and delighted wwith the poem that was placed on that post. BUT More than a little ego and Pride on my own work over played the reasons why I post such poetry here.
I usually post to learn and improve as I move from day to day, eager to know what readers thought of such poetry. Also knowing that there will always be poetry that readers will never take to in the same light as the author will. In fact many poems I loved, were never felt as it were in the same light by the readers. I have always accepted this as how things flow.
The waters of life flow in ways we cannot tell, which is why such poetry may not be received in the ways we believe it could or should, because it moves us either in pride or it in itself has moved us. Often that is the case with me, and the last poem I was excited by, because with pride I remember a sacrifice made Both in my Faith and in knowledge of a sacrifice made in a Rebellion against British rule over 100 years ago.
I felt disappointed and almost gutted that the reactions did not reveal in the same light. But reflection and fresh insights also a little early morning waking to find a thought I always have had. Readers thoughts will never reveal what you want or need, BUT what they find and see. Which is most important.
In todays poem I celebrate Spring Time and the fresh air as it were that greets us now. Here in Ireland this is what I find, that of the fresh spring time air, combined with the songs of birds and life that appears to move to a different song, rather than the winters song that was growing old to the sences..
I wish for nothing else but readers to enjoy a poem like this. If a reader does not enjoy it as I do, then that is how it should be.
About The Poem:
Todays poem is a celebration of the arrival of Spring ad the fresh outlook it gives and sends out a song in the birds whose song freshens up life itself. Even rainfall fails to dampen the air of those who pass by.
In a nut shell this is what Todays poem is about, It is a “Thank Goodness Winter is at an end for now” kind of poem. If one knows Irish weather then they will know that it often feels like it “Rained one day and never stopped for 6 months” Or such is how it feels to me and one who needs some spring air to freshen life a little.
For this poem I have used the same setup and form as I have used in recent poems. I promise that in this poem the only mention of Christianity or My Faith is pretty much in this line. I am jokng about a little in these lines, but in truth Todays poem is a straight up celebration of the changing of seasons.
Enjoy it and enjoy the fresh feeling it sends out thus providing a spring in your steps in these days. Having said all of this, Please Enjoy This Poem:

Spring's Grand Costume
Dancing beneath the stars, unfettered by fear's embrace,
As Spring emerges, painting clear its gentle grace.
Nature's gates flung wide, inviting sunlight's gleam,
Where once lay barren, now blossoms dream.
Winter's sorrow wanes, leaving no tears to mourn,
As snowy sheets retreat, revealing lands reborn.
Every hue shifts, as Nature speaks her truth,
A symphony of renewal, resplendent in youth.
Daylight stretches, casting its luminous sight,
Inviting those upright to revel in its light.
In the early springtime, birds herald change's song,
Their melodies echo, a jubilant throng.
Feel spring's pulse in every step, every breeze,
Rise from your chair, cast off worldly unease.
Embrace the cadence of shifting seasons' tune,
Capturing the essence of fresh blooms' boon.
Spring rains cascade, yet fail to quench joy's flame,
Grateful for the tides of change, never to blame.
Pause to savor roses' scent, ere they fully bloom,
Seated in eager anticipation of Spring's grand costume.

At times I experiment on methods or way how I can improve my poetry, therefore getting feedback is always most welcome for such as these.
Some of my poetry contain topics that at some point will or may not contain issues that readers either agree with or do not, or they have experienced or They will disagree with completely. YET it is Perfectly OK with me, how folks feel on some Poetry. But Poetry is a form of art work that I enjoy and thus using it in a manner to touch or inspire the reader.

Poetry for me is a constant learning curve that I always strive to improve. Often due to the speed of my typing and a few other issues, mistakes and typos will find their way into published posts. I continue to work on improving this as I move along. One such change is how I have been writing and how my poetry appears in relation to how the rest of the blog appears. So much work goes into editing and reediting and then repeating that process on a number of occasions until i am happy with the result.
Please forgive for any such mistakes and for your understanding this.
