Love’s Cost

When sitting to comose this post and poem, I was considering what the cost of Love is. What price or cost would one place on love? Is there a price OR does one go to spiritual lengths to consider such a cost? Thus where is the line drawn to total such a cost.

As in other posts, This Poem can be considered in a couple of different ways. One could take this poem from a natural sence and seek to total the cost IF any? To weigh up the pains and heartache in the total cost?

OR one could take this from a spiritual sence of the word and discover that the cost of Love has been paid in full. The cost of Love is your journey to that goals end. Where one either succeeds in facing unblemished or left counting the cost or considering thus how much is it worth.

In other words this poem should bring the reader to ponder and consider much. The question they face should in the end be an answer they reach with ease. OR do they?

Having said all of this, Please Enjoy This Poem:

Love’s Cost

While calculating the cost of your Love,
Siting here counting stars watching above.
Lifeless words lost parting clouds beyond real,
Where thoughts become dreams the thief comes to steal.

Yet hearing that love awaiting the call,
Food for thought when standing behind the wall.
For hesitation builds a pointless score,
Feeling lost in the mix ready to soar.

The thief stole in the night now laying low,
Feeling like love glows in the dark to show.
How eager to meet the standard for you,
Judging self cast it’s colour standing blue.

Walking miles to catch a sight here of you,
The cost too high when fear’s a chain that grew.
Stuck in lands yet out of my hands waiting,
Creating avenues not worth rating.

Standing, the cost could be my goal failing,
Yet stands a wall e’er high still worth scaling.
For the cost of your love not worth a count,
Yet the cost has been paid, Love your discount.
