Sitting here loooking out at a passing storm, my mind wandered and the result changed a poem I was working on. The following poem is the result of a wandering mind while gazing out at a storm. There is nothing that I find more inspiring that watching nature fight back through any lies or misdeeds.
In other words, what we see as nature always continues on its course either with our knowledge or without, It matters nothing to nature which was it turns. After weeks of sun soaked weather people have been spoilt by the ease that appeared in society as people enjoyed. Now the cycle changed if only for a brief moment, people rush for shelter striving to remain dry and safe.
That was the inspiration for what has become todays poem, In a matter of a few words. Todays poem is about any walk in Faith, even in one’s struggle with belief in a God or any such divine being etc. The passing seasons that leaves it’s mark on us beings still continue on it’s path, no Global warming or not global warming will change or alter it’s course.
But what changes or alters our own path? The stories or so called guidance of others? Or the call that lights up within your heart as you pass that which inspires you most in nature? If any! Thus Faith at times becomes a Trial especially when some strive to knock on your faith. If one was to walk or yet move forward (if they are able) then How do they know that they will make it to that goal or place they seek to reach? It is by knowing and accepting that each movement forward takes them there.
I do hope that folks understand where I am striving to hit at here in striving to explain where this poem takes you. Faith is NOT always something of religious walk But other areas in our lives also. Thus a double edge witin this poem, both of religious or God believing readers and those who use faith in other areas in life as they do.

Above: The Starting Point of a River

Trial by Faith
Walking a narrow path guided by Faith,
Without the need to return there by eight.
Wander through winding roads and rolling hills,
To keep on the straight without any frills.
Fields of gold still covered in green yet seen,
Autumn leaves are nowhere keen for this scene.
The birds of the air now everywhere sing,
Their summer song guided by what they bring.
The cycle continues where e’er we walk,
There on the clock for those who rock or dock.
Showers of blessing brightens lonely days,
Like a sunny haze in life’s long lost maze.
Cut from different branches going far,
Where e’er they are, became the brighter star.
Lost for space on unsanctioned roads in life,
Fighting on the edge of a rusty knife.
Stormy nights as the lighthouse shines brighter,
Refuge finds them safe even the fighter.
Walking by faith when running late we state,
Finding ways to someone’s gate, worth the wait?
