Introduction:
When sitting to compose something with this title, I felt it was very important to say the correct things. That anything I placed here was not intended nor wished to disrespect any or ALL Women.
In fact I wanted to compose a poem as a tribute to Women, For a Couple of reasons. In Ireland there is a referendum (Voting Today) to remove any mention of Women from The constitution (A guarentee of womans rights etc etc) . This is a Liberal issue that is to change Irish life and other things. Which I am going to avoid for reasons of Myself Not being that Insane and my political beliefs does not belong here.
B ut I believe women deserve all that could be laid upon them as equals and a guarentee of their status where ever they wish it to be. But to water down the importance of a woman is Not on for me. I decided from the beginning to never wander into Politics when composing or publishing poetry.
Except on this occasion I state that Women deserve all the honor I could offer, therefore This poem is a start. All other poetic ramblings and muttering can take place elsewhere.
About The Poem:
With International womens day and Mothers day (at least the latter is in this side of the world) Also any moves to lessen the importance of a woman is not on or anyway Recommended in any way.
I had a little problem or ten in composing this poem but we are at this point and this poem IS NEVER Intended to Insult, offend any woman nor to cast any negative rubbish on a woman.
But I offer up a piece of honor to All Women. From The Person who I describe as a large influence to who and how I am as a person and that is my Late Mother who sadly passed aged 52 so many years ago. BUT none the less she is an influence, Also growing up with Five sisters I have nothing but Respect for Women and Never forgetting my two daughters. Both Influences to me.
I am trying not to ramble too much on my usual poetry descriptions etc But to let this as a true well meant Honor to ALL Women from one simple Irish Guy.
Having said all of this; Please enjoy this poem.

Woman
Oh woman, heartbeat of this world's grand score,
In your grace, we find depths to explore and adore.
As the glue of family and hearth's sweet dome,
From shores afar to ancient Rome, shalom.
Our forebears hailed Nature the divine Mother,
No other could they seek, nor any brother.
From your embrace, new life finds its hue,
True, unwavering, a testament we pursue.
Let the world exalt woman amidst our midst,
In her presence, blessings persist and insist.
Her beauty, a beacon enriching every strife,
She walks with grace, the essence of life.
In her hands, she crafts, she heals, she tends,
Love's pure essence in her service transcends.
Rivers flow deep with the love she molds,
For those she nurtures, her worth unfolds.
In humble words, we honor her with grace,
For her love, her strength, her enduring embrace.
In a world that owes her a debt of praise,
She navigates life's maze with unwavering gaze.

Thank you my friend, I read this while I was out today but was not able to log in then. I would like to agree with you on if women ran the world.. But In ireland there was more than a little contemptfor a british Female leader back In I think 1980’s or there or there about. Irish did not care for her very much.. But generally I would agree, But am cautious because some bad ones may arise. LoL . But Wiser, damn yea,… I agree there… I am blessed to know that folks seem to like this poem..

I understand and agree with you on Thatcher!! As a generalization it’s usually true. And would be even more so if there were more good ones to choose from because they came up through the ranks.

I believe Tatcher got very bad press from many irish people due to her Iron solid stance on certain issues, which get Irish blood boiling at times. I think that she and maybe Trevelyan and Crowmwell who are most hated by Irish.. Most hated is the Latter Crowmwell, But there are many great women who could very well do fantastic jobs running better than what we all got.
