Lonely Daze

On an evening when one’s mind refuses to ignite as it were the creative juices that required another Poem to be placed on this post. I finally come up with one that although it is far from my best it suits the message that I have set within.

As always I welcome any and all coments thta readers may feel is needed etc.

 Lonely Daze

Walking in silence beginning to hear,
the soft whispers of your voice near,
But fools errands appear wise to believe
That you are near once more, I grieve.

Sitting alone in the cool evening breeze,
Hearing your songs for a moments ease.
From the ache within gripping my heart,
Knowing that we will always be apart.

Roll back the clock, beat the sands of time
To a day when cares were ne’er did climb
to our lives, youthful days hindered none,
But does not last the late Summer sun.

Wishful hours wasted dreaming of your love,
Awaken the warm beat of love like a glove
That seals the inner glow that brightens days,
As if freeing my heart from this lonely daze.

  1. It’s a great poem nonetheless, and the pictures are beautiful. Sometimes, we want to write but just can’t get those creative juices flowing. But once they start flowing, sometimes it’s hard to shut them off. At least it is for me. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
